Tabby Terrace – DorchesterWe enjoyed our visit yesterday felt welcome .definitely be back soon.
Tabby Terrace – DorchesterMe and my son had a lovely morning with the cats, they are clearly loved, looked after and very happy. We had food and hot drinks which were well made and reasonably priced. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. We loved the decor and all of the little touches. Being local this is a little gem and it’s somewhere we shall definitely return to.
Tabby Terrace – DorchesterVisited with my daughter, lovely place , the staff were excellent . The cars were mostly in sleepy mode - it was afternoon , but it was a lovely time just to be around them . We had coffee and avocado on toast both of which were very good
Tabby Terrace – DorchesterLovely atmosphere! It was lovely to feed the cats some treats! My daughter and niece really enjoyed playing with the cats! They worked out what toys they preferred on the day and had a lovely interaction with them! Was a lovely experience. Great staff, nothing was too much and always checked if we needed anything! Great value for money!
Tabby Terrace – DorchesterGreat lunchtime experience. Couple of cats were snoozy, couple were more active. Staff were lovely. Food was great!

Tabby Terrace – DorchesterLoved it the cats were great and so too were the staff and food. It’s a shame though some parents can’t stop their kids from running around and making too much noise but overall the experience was lovely.
Tabby Terrace – DorchesterI booked Tabby Terrace for my little girls birthday lunch with her friends. The staff were so accommodating especially with so many requests from the children. We also have allergy concerns with the food and the kitchen/chef was so accommodating, considerate and really careful with our specific needs. We were really impressed. Thank you!
Tabby Terrace – DorchesterThis was our first visit and overall, we really enjoyed the experience. The venue is beautifully presented and tastefully decorated, with lovely furnishings that created a cosy and welcoming atmosphere. The cats were beautiful and clearly well cared for, though they weren’t as interactive as I’d expected based on what I’d heard from others. Most seemed to prefer being observed from a distance or left alone. That said, I completely understand — with so many people coming and going throughout the day, it’s likely a bit overwhelming for them at times. One cat was especially adventurous, and from personal experience, I know that some cats simply prefer more freedom. Still, it’s clear the cats have everything they need: access to food, water, clean litter trays, and a comfortable environment. They also wear AirTags and flea collars, which shows a high level of care. Cleanliness was very good — tables were regularly cleaned and there were no unpleasant smells. The only small issue was the floor, which could benefit from being brushed more often. Many visitors naturally want to sit or lie on the floor to be near the cats, so a quick sweep every so often might improve comfort. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and engaging — no complaints there at all. They added to the positive experience. In terms of pricing, I thought it was reasonable: £15 for one hot drink, one cold drink, one cake, and two entry fees. As a treat, it felt worth it. While I wouldn’t visit regularly, I do feel the £4 entry fee is fair. Caring for cats — including heating the venue, food, healthcare, and general upkeep — clearly adds up, and drink sales alone wouldn’t cover those costs. A small suggestion might be to introduce incentives like a “family of four for £10” entry fee, which could encourage more visits. The choice of cakes was a little limited, though there was something to choose from, and the menu itself looked like it offered a variety of food options. All in all, a lovely and relaxing visit. Next time, we might try coming in the morning when the cats are possibly more active. Of course, it’s hard not to compare them to our own extremely sociable cat who loves attention and cuddles from anyone and everyone!
Tabby Terrace – DorchesterCats were cute, lovely to see them wandering around freely with lots of areas and toys. Food & drink was nice, the girls serving were pleasant, gave us all the info we needed to be there, safely and using sanitiser etc.
Tabby Terrace – DorchesterLovely place I took some nice pics of cats, the £4 each entrance fee a bit steep especially when buying drinks and food could be less as it's a shock when you get your bill
Tabby Terrace – DorchesterNeeded a cat fix whilst on holiday. Only been to one cat cafe before which was smaller but had at least twice the number of cats. Was quite busy when we went and lots of kids following the cats around. Food was basic but nice, friendly staff. Just disappointed with lack of cats, with £4 entrance fee and spent over £60.
Tabby Terrace – DorchesterLovely atmosphere, lovely food lovely staff
Tabby Terrace – DorchesterWe had a great time. A super little cat cafe. Well run by friendly staff , all of whom kept smiling even though they were very busy. Our grandchildren can't wait to visit again.
Tabby Terrace – DorchesterStaff were lovely and very knowledgeable about the cats. The only downside was that they seemed a little understaffed (only two members - one in the kitchen and one front of house) which did lead to small children unsupervised when trying to play with the cats. We noted that, in spite of notices saying leave the cats to rest when upstairs, children did pursue them and were not stopped. The cats did seem rather on edge and visibly relaxed when the party including small children left. One of our party also ended up having a cat toy violently swung into her hot drink by an unsupervised child!
Tabby Terrace – DorchesterLovely place, the staff were friendly and very attentive. The cats were incredibly patient, I have a very boisterous toddler who loves getting right in everything’s personal space.. including cats! Both the cats and staff were lovely and patient. Food was nice, I can only comment on the cake and coffee which was lovely but food looked nice from what I could see. The atmosphere was cosy and laid back, lots of cat based decor as you would expect from this kind of venue. In all great place, great team and a terrific way to spend a couple of hours. Thanks all!
