Tabby Terrace – DorchesterMe and my son had a lovely morning with the cats, they are clearly loved, looked after and very happy. We had food and hot drinks which were well made and reasonably priced. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. We loved the decor and all of the little touches. Being local this is a little gem and it’s somewhere we shall definitely return to.
Tabby Terrace – DorchesterVisited with my daughter, lovely place , the staff were excellent . The cars were mostly in sleepy mode - it was afternoon , but it was a lovely time just to be around them . We had coffee and avocado on toast both of which were very good
Tabby Terrace – DorchesterLovely atmosphere! It was lovely to feed the cats some treats! My daughter and niece really enjoyed playing with the cats! They worked out what toys they preferred on the day and had a lovely interaction with them! Was a lovely experience. Great staff, nothing was too much and always checked if we needed anything! Great value for money!
Tabby Terrace – DorchesterGreat lunchtime experience. Couple of cats were snoozy, couple were more active. Staff were lovely. Food was great!

Tabby Terrace – DorchesterLoved it the cats were great and so too were the staff and food. It’s a shame though some parents can’t stop their kids from running around and making too much noise but overall the experience was lovely.
Tabby Terrace – DorchesterWe have visited the Ming Wah for many years. We felt that the food and service had returned to it's former great standards. Thank you.
Ming Wah Restaurant – WeymouthI booked Tabby Terrace for my little girls birthday lunch with her friends. The staff were so accommodating especially with so many requests from the children. We also have allergy concerns with the food and the kitchen/chef was so accommodating, considerate and really careful with our specific needs. We were really impressed. Thank you!
Tabby Terrace – Dorchester5 of us had a carvery on Sunday, the food was really lovely and tasty, a big selection of vegetables and a choice of 4 meats…. Our only fault sadly that it was quite cold
The Gallery Restaurant at the Hotel Rembrandt – WeymouthFood was excellent & excelled - however the poor girl & lad on were rushed off their feet… had to ask twice for our drinks orders, we always visit when holidaying in Weymouth over the years, has had a refurb ,much brighter & fresher….. just not enough staff on!
Ming Wah Restaurant – WeymouthI had the beef stir fry ,as did my companion ,which we both enjoyed .It had a little heat but was of a manageable level and didn’t interfere with the delicious flavours. A plentiful dish, lovely vegetables with some bite to them ,nice soft beef and lots of noodles. My choice of pudding wasn’t available but the chef went the extra mile to give me a delicious version of a chocolate brownie sundae with what was available.Loved it, thank you. Restaurant was very quiet that night, service was excellent Very relaxed environment. Will definitely be back, aiming for a 3 course meal next time .
The Gallery Restaurant at the Hotel Rembrandt – WeymouthA great find, the food was lovely, good portions and freshly cooked. We will definitely be returning when we are next in Weymouth.
Ming Wah Restaurant – WeymouthThis was our first visit and overall, we really enjoyed the experience. The venue is beautifully presented and tastefully decorated, with lovely furnishings that created a cosy and welcoming atmosphere. The cats were beautiful and clearly well cared for, though they weren’t as interactive as I’d expected based on what I’d heard from others. Most seemed to prefer being observed from a distance or left alone. That said, I completely understand — with so many people coming and going throughout the day, it’s likely a bit overwhelming for them at times. One cat was especially adventurous, and from personal experience, I know that some cats simply prefer more freedom. Still, it’s clear the cats have everything they need: access to food, water, clean litter trays, and a comfortable environment. They also wear AirTags and flea collars, which shows a high level of care. Cleanliness was very good — tables were regularly cleaned and there were no unpleasant smells. The only small issue was the floor, which could benefit from being brushed more often. Many visitors naturally want to sit or lie on the floor to be near the cats, so a quick sweep every so often might improve comfort. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and engaging — no complaints there at all. They added to the positive experience. In terms of pricing, I thought it was reasonable: £15 for one hot drink, one cold drink, one cake, and two entry fees. As a treat, it felt worth it. While I wouldn’t visit regularly, I do feel the £4 entry fee is fair. Caring for cats — including heating the venue, food, healthcare, and general upkeep — clearly adds up, and drink sales alone wouldn’t cover those costs. A small suggestion might be to introduce incentives like a “family of four for £10” entry fee, which could encourage more visits. The choice of cakes was a little limited, though there was something to choose from, and the menu itself looked like it offered a variety of food options. All in all, a lovely and relaxing visit. Next time, we might try coming in the morning when the cats are possibly more active. Of course, it’s hard not to compare them to our own extremely sociable cat who loves attention and cuddles from anyone and everyone!
Tabby Terrace – DorchesterWe had a Sunday carvery and we would wholeheartedly recommend it. The choices of meats were well cooked and succulent . A great and plentiful choice of well cooked vegetables. Excellent gravy and accompaniments. We will most definitely be coming back for more.
The Gallery Restaurant at the Hotel Rembrandt – WeymouthCats were cute, lovely to see them wandering around freely with lots of areas and toys. Food & drink was nice, the girls serving were pleasant, gave us all the info we needed to be there, safely and using sanitiser etc.
