Great meal and Will definitely come again

Had a great meal, brilliant service and lovely food

5 of us came for roast at 2pm Sunday 10th. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Carvery was really lovely. Very good choice of meat and wonderful variety of vegetables. It was all hot which is sometimes not what I’ve found in other carvery’s. My only small criticism for want of a better word was the size of the small plate. The ladies were going to have a small plate as thought it would be done by meat slices not plate sizes. I personally only like one slice of meat and a good portion of veg but obviously choose the larger plate as you would not get much on the tea plate size of the smaller plate. One carvery that I go to, have small, medium and large choices, all the same plate size but you get one slice of meat for the small, two for the big and so on. With that said the food was delicious. The actual restaurant is a bit ‘canteen’ like. Perhaps flowers on the tables or a bit of decoration somewhere would brighten it up a bit. I would definitely recommend the carvery. Thank you.

We always paid a visit to Ming Wah when we visited Weymouth. Now we live here, which means we can go more often. The food is excellent, never had a bad meal and the staff are friendly and professional. Would thoroughly recommend.

We were pleasantly surprised at the transformation at Ming Wah. The atmosphere was calm and welcoming, everything very clean and the staff so kind and helpful. Our food arrived quickly and mine was very good. My husband's main dish had to be replaced but this was done quickly and they couldn't have been nicer about it. I really enjoyed my stir-fried vegetables in garlic sauce and the egg fried rice was absolutely delicious. I would recommend this restaurant !

The best Carvery in town & so many delicious vegetables.! I welcome the choice of smaller plates to include those with smaller appetites. There is also a Wednesday lunchtime Carvery . Bon Appetit

Fantastic carvery all meat hot and all other food hot and all meat was tasty

Outstanding Meal at the Ming Wah! We attended as a couple and experienced truly exceptional food and lovely and quick service. We had the vegetarian duck with pancakes as a starter which was extremely tasty and the very definition of crispy! We also had a variety of main courses - some vegetarian and some not - and everything was superb! The vegetarian chicken is of a very high quality and it's good to see an expanded range of veggie options. The place has been refurbished with new tables and chairs and the carpet replaced with wooden flooring. It's lovely. The service was exceptional - fast and also very knowledgeable. We highly recommend the Ming Wah!

My friend and I have the Sunday carvery regularly. Excellent all round, excellent value, amazing choice and exceedingly friendly and helpful staff . Highly recommend.. you can't go wrong.

Visited Ming Wah restaurant for my Mums birthday. We were a party of 6. Even though they were very busy, the staff were very friendly and attentive. Great choice of dishes. We all ordered different dishes and we all enjoyed our meals. One dish came out not so warm, but the staff sorted it out straight away, which was very much appreciated. The meals were reasonable, but felt the drinks were a little pricey. Thank you for making my Mums birthday special.

Good food. Good choices. Good value for money. Friendly efficient staff from management / supervisors/ chef and waiting staff. Lots of room. Parking usually available. Have been twice now and absolutely no room for desserts!

We dicided to go against what some others said in their reviews. This was our first visit to this restaurant. We found the staff were very friendly, the food was amazing and value for money. Overall a delightful place. Whenever we visit Weymouth again, definitely a must 2nd visit.

We have family in weymouth and as we visit quite alot ,this place is always at the top of our places to go too ,never had a bad carvery here ,you can also have a takeaway carvery if you wish .I highly recommend,you need to book in advance as they tent to get busy.
