We visited on Thursday 1 July a table of 6. After a long wait the order was taken. Of the 6 dishes chosen 3 were not available. Of the next 3 dishes chosen 2 were still not available. The waiter mentioned that Brakes had refused to deliver as their bill had not been paid. The meals eventually arrived. Not all the sauces requested were provided. All 4 steaks were inedible. My mother in law took hers home to make a stew with. We were offered replacements but given the wait for the meal already and mother in law is 89 we said no. My jacket potato had just been microwaved and was appalling. Tasted revolting and I was given margarine not even butter! No money was taken off the bill despite nearly all plates being cleared with most of the meals still on them. The service was appalling. We will never return here. Honeybee you should be ashamed.

Food was excellent. And plentiful. Very friendly staff. And good atmosphere. Nice clean surroundings and pleasant scenery.

Great value for money, service second to none!! over all a really nice place to eat, at a reasonable price, will defiantly be returning.

Been many times to The Honeybee and never had an issue, food always great, cooked well and we have never left any. Will be going again, it's our fav place for a ride out and lovely meal !

I'm sorry to say we (that's 6 of us) went for meal at weekend our table was booked for 19.15 pm, only 4 got what was ordered over 45minutes from making order, 5th did not get the chips with his meal and the 6th not at all. It took a complaint to get missing meal and chips a lot later. The steak was unable to cut with knife, myself due to being a diabetic only ordered salmon with green beans but the beans looked and tasted worse for wear at a cost of £10. The pub was quite busie when arrived but thined out during our meal, staff did not seam to cover persific tables which ment you had to shout to grab attention even to request further drinks, very disappointing.

The wife and I visited this venue on Sat 26th June and had the 2 steaks and wine, exactly the same as we had 2 weeks ago when 4 of us visited. The Covid saftey in place was well good and we were greeted then shown to our booked table, our order was taken withing 5 min of us sitting down. The meal was prepared in good time and served on hot plates which I like. The food was well prepared and our steaks were cooked exactly how we both like. Overall the food was very good value for money and will be going back again soon.

Love this pub, lovely location, friendly staff and absolutely beautiful in good weather, the food is just fantastic, deffo recommend to anyone for a visit and find out for yourselves xx

Think the service was very poor, only 2 young girls working and one we found quite rude. Went here before lock down and was a lovely place to go. Will think twice before going again.

We came to the Honey Bee on Tuesday 22.6.21 to celebrate my son's graduation. We had a really lovely waitress who couldn't do enough for us and was very pleasant. We used to come to the Honey Bee years ago but as it is a distance from our house we haven't been for a while. The food was above and beyond what we expected it really was delicious and really good portion sizes we left very full and very satisfied with the food and service we received, so much so that we have decided we will try and visit once a month from now on it was that good. I am a vegetarian and finding a menu with enough choices is very difficult but your menu was the best I have seen for me. I have looked at the reviews below which were very negative but we had no complaints what so ever so not sure when those reviews were from but we have no complaints at all.

Food was lovely. Only complaint was the waitress deciding to place a tray of 4 drinks right in front of my baby who then immediately grabbed a glass and pulled it on herself. No apology whatsoever offered by the lady serving and she also didn’t come and mop the floor by us so it was soaking wet for the duration of our meal

The food was absolutely shocking. The plate was swimming in fat. I will not be going back to the honey bee ever again. Service was shocking took us to go and find someone to pay the bill. Food was lovely. Staff was friendly. Wanted to order another drink plus puddings but no one came to us. After waiting sometime we flagged someone down and asked for the bill.
