My first visit and I managed to park right outside, always a bonus. The atmosphere inside is relaxed and comfortable and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. We started the evening with a couple of delicious Mocktails, which I would recommend you try and we really enjoyed our food. There's plenty of choice for all tastes and good pudding options. We just happened to be there on Quiz Night which was a real laugh, so get down there and try it. We will be returning.

The good grub is a fantastic little gem of a venue in Eastbourne & the food is just amazing. Always fresh, healthy and great. My other half could probably do every desert several times over. If you want yummy vegan grub this is win win! (Even if I’m not a famous you tuber) 10/10

Lovely place and atmosphere. I really enjoyed meeting friend there, never been in before and loved the way it's presented (and it has a very creative toilet!) I enjoyed the variety of food on offer, smaller and larger meals, and would love to try more next time I'm there. I had the butter bean bruschetta which was good, and my friend had one of the toasties which looked really good!

We had a lovely meal here before going to the congress theatre to see a show. Great atmosphere and service. The starter was delicious and so was my bangers and mash, but my friend had the curry and rice, which she said was quite nice, but she felt the rice was a quite undercooked. We will definitely be back again though

Lovely venue but poor food. We came over from Brighton due to the excellent reviews, but this place would struggle to compete anywhere else. Roast dinner was unflavoured, and the turkey was almost inedible (so hard it was embarrassing). Baked Camembert was tasty but salad didn’t match the flavours, and the ‘smoked salmon’ was poor. Coffee was like warm. Lovely people but just giving honest review from customers used to high end vegan cafes.

Fantastic food as usual by the amazing Chloe, had great fun at the quiz night, food was second to none. The atmosphere was like being round a friends house for dinner. Wonderful!!

What a fabulous place! Friendly staff, great food, and good atmosphere. The menu is pretty varied so stuff to suit all tastes - from a fry-up or toastie to felafel bowl or salad. Would definitely recommend, in fact I already have!!

Our first visit in a number of months was on Easter Sunday. It was good to see the restaurant almost full and it had a great Bistro type atmosphere. It's great to have an exclusively vegan establishment nearby and important to support it. We both enjoyed the food and drinks. The Easter Cheezecake was remarkably good - so much so that someone on a neighbouring table had a second portion. We're looking forward to returning to try the nut roast, since we have both lobbied for one to be added to the menu.

Lovely as always! Booked fairly last-minute but got a table, and was able to enjoy a lovely latte, wonderful wine, and beautiful banoffee pie in a glass with my friend. Staff and other customers were superbly friendly as always. I can't wait to go again for a main meal.

I’m so impressed by this lovely little restaurant. Always such a warm welcome. Loving the new wine menu and a great selection of cocktails and mocktails, and the food is terrific. I’m very excited to try everything on the new menu.

We love the good grub and like to support our only vegan restaurant. Service and staff are excellent.

My second visit here and this time I brought friends. The menu is so varied, and being fully plant based, I didn’t have to waste energy filtering out those with animal parts/secretions! Our table had the corn, cauliflower wings, mozzarella sticks and salmon starters. Mains were steak, roast, and burger. Everything was beautiful presented and tasted delicious. My friends haven’t stopped talking about it since! The service was outstanding from booking to dining. My only regret is not being able to eat more! I wish I could have tried everything ! Highly recommended x

Delicious food, generous portions and a friendly atmosphere. Falafel toastie on the new menu was especially good. This is an excellent independent restaurant and well worth including in the places to go to in East Sussex.

Good that a small restaurant is 100% vegan and I know how difficult it is to produce tasty food from just plants, but the basics have to be right from the beginning. And imitating favourite meat dishes demands a level of sophistication not possible in a small cafe. The roast t*rkey dinner was awful and even the vegetables were overcooked. My advice is to keep things simple by offering things like vegetable curry and the best commercially-made vegan sausages with mash on home-cooked onion gravy. Powdered gravy is never going to cut it. Hope you survive but you will have to up your game.
