A lovely restaurant serving fresh local produce and produce from France I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. It has a lovely atmosphere and ben the owner is very welcoming and makes you feel at home I eat there at least once a week.

Big hunk of meat, like an alligators, accompanied with Brussell's sprouts and gravy. Nice one for a fiver.

We love this place so much, we are organising our Autumn overnight stay with their opening hours to make sure we get a lovely meal!! Great food, lovely people, good value.

This is one of the most friendliest pubs in Eastbourne with food which is of a very high quality. The Landlord Phil and Landlady Annie with Manager Andy make you feel very welcome and will do their best to make your visit memorable.Ask Phil to make you a champagne cocktail to share with friends - unforgettable and well worth the £15

I have been going to Cosmo since it opened 6 years ago, and it is definitely my favourite lunchtime buffet. The price has remained unchanged, as too has the high quality of food and friendly service. It does get busy, (especially at weekends and during school holidays), but this only demonstrates its' popularity. During busy times, there is a limit of 1 hour, which is ample, so long as you are there to eat. Great for a hungry group of friends, not so ideal for a quiet date or a business lunch. Overall, fantastic value. I haver never been disappointed. 10/10.

This is a great place to go and eat. The food is wonderful (all cooked from fresh) and using organic locally sourced ingredients. The service is is spot on and Ben the owner is very friendly and makes the atmosphere very welcoming. Me and my friends eat here regularly and always recommend it to others as a good place to eat. All reasonably priced and top quality.

My wife and I (We are from Northern Ireland) were in Eastbourne over the week-end of 15/17 May and on the Saturday night we went looking for somewhere nice to eat as it was my wife’s birthday. As we passed the window of “Athens” some friends who were already in the Restaurant beckoned us inside. We are so glad we did - The food, friendly atmosphere, superb service, pleasant surroundings all combined to make it a birthday day meal to remember. The owner couple overheard our friends mention it was my wife’s birthday; learned my wife’s name, quietly informed the other diners and ensured that when EVERYONE sung happy birthday they knew it was for “Marie”. It was very evident that this family run high quality authentic Restaurant was popular as several diners were local and known to the owners I would recommend this establishment to anyone seeking good food in pleasant surroundings provided in a professional, friendly and value for money manner Thank you to the owners for such an enjoyable evening If we are ever lucky enough to visit Eastbourne again - we WILL dine at Athens

Visiting Eastbourne from Rayleigh, Essex. Called in on a Saturday evening without booking a table, was made very welcome by the staff. Couldn't fault the service or the food. The dining area was clean and bright, the open hatch to the cooking area even encouraged the feeling of freshness. Would recommend it to anyone wanting a different dining experience.

Every one in eastbourne must visit this restaurant the food and staff are brilliant, each time we have been, with out fail we leave impressed and happy. The staff make are dining experience memorable and the food is out of this world!! i recommend anything off the specials menu, having tried them all i know there amazing!! i first visited the Athens with my wife 3 years ago and we make sure we dine there at least once a week!

The most vibrant, electric atmosphere; superb staff, happy and helpful, the food is absolutely 'off this planet' and Giampiero the Chef is the best in the Italian world. No superlatives can do justice to this wonderful restaurant, and anyone who doesn't visit it, will never know what they missed. Long may Mo Mambo survive and thrive!

One of my all time favourite restaurants - great food and great staff, always worth a visit.

Lovely modest bistro run by lovely people; nice informal and friendly atmosphere, run by Ben and Mary and lovely staff.

This is a real little gold mine in Eastbourne. From the outside you would probably walk past but do not let this put you off. This is a truly special place, serving amazing food at such reasonable prices. Today I had snails in garlic - superb, followed by confit of duck which was the best I have ever had. The owner is so passionate about food, it is a real fine dining experience at an incredible cheap cost. Amazing!
