Ancient Grains – EastbourneLovely local restaurant with relaxing atmosphere. The set menu was excellent value.
Ancient Grains – EastbourneLovely food very tasty will definitely return
Ancient Grains – Eastbournewe visited for the second time and chose octopus salad and heirloom tomatoes to start, followed by two pasta dishes, one with crab claws, the other sausage ragu. Everything was beautifully presented and delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals. It’s a great find in a very attractive part of the town. Highly recommended
Ancient Grains – EastbourneDelicious food, excellent service and lovely atmosphere. Highly recommend.
Ancient Grains – EastbourneCharming place, beautiful food, lovely ladies
Ancient Grains – EastbourneA wonderful find in the Meads. Delicious food, friendly staff, and relaxed atmosphere. The best value would be the lunch set course but alas our schedule didn’t allow for it so we pre ordered for an evening meal instead. Pricier than the lunch as is standard, but the food was delectable. Simple food cooked so well. A treat to be taken out. Thank you.
Ancient Grains – EastbourneFabulous fresh and tasty food, service friendly and attentive, we can’t wait to return! And thank you for making our dog feel so welcome. Great little find in our local village.
Ancient Grains – EastbourneA hidden gem in the heart of Meads Village. Has become our favourite restaurant in Eastbourne. Food, ambiance and service is amazing. Varied menu to suit any palate all freshly prepared. Excellent value for money with a wine list which is affordable. Overall definitely well worth a visit would advise booking.
Ancient Grains – Eastbournethis is a lovely restaurant and dining experience. We chose from the pre-selected menus. We shared the broad bean ( a very under rated veg ) and aubergine starters and we both had the zuppe di peche which was outstanding and highly recommended. This is one of our favorites dishes and the broth was amazing. The ambience is relaxed and friendly and the wine list interesting and sensibly priced. We expect to become regulars !
Ancient Grains – EastbourneAncient Grains never disappoints. My friend and I had the pre-order menu, everything was top quality and freshly made. Service is always attentive and friendly. My favourite restaurant in Eastbourne.
Ancient Grains – EastbourneVery presently surprised, the atmosphere, food and the service was outstanding, will definitely be booking again, there were four of us and we all felt the same. Maybe we will choose from the pre-order menu next time.
Ancient Grains – EastbourneExtremely enjoyable lunch. Service was professional and friendly. All food was delicious.
Ancient Grains – EastbourneDelicious authentic dishes. Highly recommended . I don't believe that Gayle ate at the same restaurant; their review along with all its spelling errors and idiosyncratic grammar says "bot" to me. My friend and I appreciated Carla's warm welcome and the food was superb. Scopriamo il tesoro qui à Ancient Grains, (don't tell Gayle!).
Ancient Grains – EastbourneA gem of a restaurant. Delicious food, charming waitress. This really felt like a village family restaurant with pride in their food. I couldn't really comment on the atmostphere because we were the only customers for a mid week lunch, but we couldn't have asked for more. If there has been any work places nearby I'm sure it would have been packed out.
Ancient Grains – EastbourneThe best restaurant in Meads. One of the top three in Eastbourne! Service was spot-on, nice and knowledgeable, and very friendly, which made a big difference to the whole experience. Definitely going back again soon!
Ancient Grains – EastbourneBeautiful hidden gem of a restaurant. Authentic, original, genuine Sardinian food. Great service, will be back for more
