Had a lovely meal here on Sat 23rd Dec. Would highly recommend. 5*

Didn’t think it was worth the amount charged. The veggies weren’t nice and the trifle wasn’t really a trifle- just jelly and cream. I had a gluten free brownie which was the best part of the meal. Felt it wasn’t a special Christmas meal. Only good part was the service as staff were really helpful. On the whole disappointing

Had Christmas lunch for 4 people. The food was lovely as were the very attentive staff. This was our third year for Christmas and thoroughly enjoyed by the 4 of us. Would highly recommend.

We were at the Ravelston House Hotel in Musselburgh for Christmas Lunch on Tues 12th Dec presentation was lovely and food was excellrnt also great service from the male waiter sorry forgot to ask his name ! Would recommend this hotel great value

Great food and atmosphere

My colleagues and I had our Christmas lunch here the food was amazing enjoyed by all, staff friendly and attentive would recommend to friends and family

Christmas lunch for 4 people. Excellent food, excellent service, excellent value. Restaurant was not busy so not a lot of surrounding noise. Background music was christmassy but not too loud. This is the second year our group have been to Ravelston House and were not disappointed.

That's the second year we have had our Christmas meal here for Seafield bowling ladies. The meal was delicious. The staff were attentive and very friendly. A superb afternoon enjoyed by all. Thank you SBC

Had a lovely lunch experience here with my 91 year old Mum. I mention her age as the waiters were absolutely lovely and caring towards her -just the right amount- not intrusive or patronising. I had asked for a quieter table as she wears hearing aids and they had chosen well. We both had the beefsteak pie which was delicious- the vegetables were just right and the chips hot. I've eaten here a few times and the food has always been good.

We had the lunch time offer on Friday. Food was tasty & good value & the service was friendly & efficient. We'll definitely be back.

Book and hour before eating ,which may have been a problem for other establishment's but not the Ravelston we were welcome and shown directly to our table Service was excellent as was the food.

Quite pleasant, service inconsistent - 2 starters forgotten whilst others delivered and we had to catch staff attention to rectify albeit too late for the others who had already finished their starters, Small mix up with one main course too which was rectified but staff seem pre occupied and service could have been better. Overall food quality pretty good and pleasant atmosphere for enjoyable afternoon family lunch

A very pleasant atmosphere, staff really good and well mannered. Restaurant dining area very clean and maintained.

Bit of a wait for food but when it arrived it was lovely. Staff very friendly and nice atmosphere.

on entering we were quickly shown to a table and drinks also quick. meal order taken quickly but meal was slow in coming meal was good but brocolli was hard.
