Very nice place for brunch and dinner. The food is made from schratch and very tasty

I have dined at Ravelston many times and it’s always a pleasant experience with very tasty food.

You had two hearts legends eat at your restaurant today - Jim Jefferies and Billy Brown. We ate local to support local businesses. The food was good and the service very friendly. The young waiter was very happy as he got a photo with Jim & Billy. Thank you for the great service. We will return.

Had a lovely night at Ravelstone - food good in evening - although a couple of veggie choices would have been welcome. However best vegetarian breakfast I’ve had in a long time. Hubby said same about his Meat based breakfast and very nice to see a separate vegan option too. Hard working staff but very friendly and chatty. We would return.

Food and service were faultless , thoroughly enjoyed my day .

We had our wedding reception here 50 years ago and thought it would be nice to come back on our anniversary. Sadly we were disappointed with the quality of the food and portion sizes were inadequate for the prices charged. The only thing that was good was the tartare sauce.

I love it here since Joel & his partner took over a while back and everytime I go in the staff are great as are the food & drinks selection. I was in again on Saturday evening and despite the place being busy, it took no time at all for our cocktails, it had a great atmosphere and the staff were a joy as always.

It was amazing food and incredible service. After looking for a brunch place/ pub that had vegan options I am happy to say that the Bonnington Leith is now our spot. Our server was super kind and attentive and even went out of his way to make me a lovely iced latte! I cannot wait to come back.

Really amazing food and service. Just about tried everything on the menu now. Live local to it so in there all the time. Never been disappointed, would highly recommend. Really cool bar and atmosphere too

Was at your restaurant on Friday, the staff were all lovely myself and my two guests visit different restaurants once a week were not impressed, myself and my mum had the pork dish, my mum could not cut the pork and had to ask for a steak knife to cut the meat, she asked me to do it for her as she could not cut the meat, the kale was very hard to chew, we are all very disappointed with the food also wanted sweet eaton mess got told there was none left

Service was not great young lad just couldn't be arsed forgot all about us waited 20 mins on desert served a hot glass straight out the washer for a cold beer ,food could have been hotter .

We booked this lunch weeks ago, there were fifteen of us, having just been at a family internment at the local cemetery. We arrived a bit early but once we had settled down, we were handed out menus. When we were asked what we wanted , it appeared that neither steak pie nor chicken supreme were available, despite being on the menu, so those who had ordered it had to make do with fish and chips. Surely that should have been checked before the menus were handed out? One of our guests ordered a chicken burger without the bun but apparently the chicken was stringy and not at all tasty. However, she ate it as she did not want to make a fuss considering we had just been at an emotional service at the cemetery.

Food disappointing The Portion size was woefully small for the price,even children would be looking for more on their plate. Staff not the friendliest Will definitely not be returning!!

Lovely place for a quiet meal with friends. Food is tasty, shame there wasn't a real Sticky Toffee pudding.

Took family from out of town and it was an enjoyable experience.

Superb food all 4 enjoyed a great night and the service was excellent. We are going for dinner again next month. 10/10
