Bonsai Bar Bistro – Edinburghsushi was very fresh, but food portions were rather small leaving still hungry as i left...a bit disappointed as i heard some good stuff about this place!
Sushiya – EdinburghTruly scrumptious!!!
Gusto – EdinburghThe place is a joke! Tourists beware!
Scotts Bar – EdinburghQuite possibly the finest meal in Edinburgh; Fishers in the City is small and unassuming; it never seems overcrowded, but is always busy. The quality of the kitchen is immensely high, and the wine list is stunning. The fish is fresh and locally sourced, imaginatively cooked without ever being over-complicated. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and are more than happy to answer questions about the menu. It's my first choice for any romantic or celebratory meal!
Fishers In The City – EdinburghThis is surely a beacon of hope for foodies within the current Edinburgh restaurant scene. The food, service and ambience are all consistently first class. As a keen cook and culinary disaffected citizen it is the only Edinburgh restaurant worth a visit .
Ondine – EdinburghFabulous food, service and venue. Definitely worth a visit!
Gusto – EdinburghA group of 9 lunched at The Kitchin - the eldest in their 70's and the youngest 9. We all thoroughly enjoyed the gastronomic experience. Staff were brilliant and attentive and the food was devine. We were not hurried despite being the last to arrive. Our 9 year old budding restaurant critic now aspires to visit The Kitchin on a regular basis and recommends it to everyone - as do we. Thanks Tom and staff for making it a very enjoyable experience for us all.
The Kitchin – EdinburghGREAT ATMOSPHERE.WENT RECENTLY SUNDAY P.M. FOOD VERY GOOD SUITED EVERYONE IN OUR FAMILY NOT EASY!.
Montpeliers – EdinburghStarter of melted cambert lovely. Mussels more than often closed. No finger bowl. Though they did give another smaller bowl on my request. These were closed as well. I would never go here again, nor recommend to anyone. Our last waiter/ I think a manager was the only decent person there. I think it not worth the money.
Cafe Rouge – EdinburghYUMMY! I love coming to eat a Gusto...the staff are really friendly and the food is always such good quality. I love that you can just pop in for a pizza or go all out with a lobster or a steak. It caters for every occasion and can't wait to return!!!
Gusto – EdinburghExcellent place to eat and the food lives up to expectations - and the kitchen/owner is even flexible enough to prepare dishes (with a bit of advance warning) that you like and are not on the menu. It's a bit too contemporary to have that 'old taverna' feel but let the food, wine, music and banter take you back to that holiday you enjoyed so much. You might even be lucky and have the sun shining outside. Only let down was the wine list - could do with padding out a bit more with some Greek wines, that are readily available in the UK these days.
My Big Fat Greek Kitchen – EdinburghExcellent seafood restaurant and pub. it has a quaint 1930's bistro vibe. This is enhanced by the original features in this old dockside pub in Leith. Just a twenty second stroll from where we were staying at Malmaison.
Shore Bar and Restaurant – EdinburghExcellent service and a great location in a grand old dock building.
Chez Mal Brasserie – EdinburghEnjoy the grand and sumptuous surroundings here. Old school charm in the heart of Edinburgh. Choose from different locations to dine or drink.
The Dome – EdinburghWonderful old place filled with character. Enjoyed beer and quality sarnies here at the weekend. Perfect spot for refreshment before or after exploring the wonderful city of Edinburgh.
Cafe Royal – EdinburghWe have been to this wonderful restaurant several times now and it is first class. The staff are so welcoming, friendly and efficient, the decor is lovely and the food is simply the best. Can't wait to go back next week.
Karens Unicorn – EdinburghFood excellent, as good as I've tried in the more expensive Thai restaurants in town. BYOB and added bonus! Small but very friendly too.
Absolute Thai – Edinburgh2 courses for £16. Available Monday to Friday until 7pm.
