TGI Fridays – EdinburghThis may sound like a cliche but the meal I had at Dusit surpassed every other Thai meal I have had (and I have been to Thailand!). To start I had the satay chicken skewers which were nice but the absolute clincher was my main course. It was a seafood dish (unfortunately I can't remember the name) which had jumbo king prawns, scallops and pieces of monkfish in a delicious sauce that was a bit sweet and a bit sour. Divine!
Dusit – EdinburghPossibly the best meal I have ever had. The menu was so extensive I had trouble choosing!! A whole new world of vegetarian food has opened up!!
David Bann – EdinburghWhat a place, centre of Edinburgh... just off the pricey George Street!! This place has the atmosphere that dreams are made of...made a night of it, had some food and crawled out at 3am....now it happens at least once a month! Damn bartenders, there too good at their job!
Garibaldis – EdinburghThe food was delicious and very fresh. I would go there again for business .
The Golden Dragon – Edinburghextremely good food at very reasonable prices, a very romantic place to dine, one of my favourite restaurants, and the cameo bar is a great place to finish off the evening.
La Camargue and Cameo Bar – EdinburghOne of my Sudanese friends recommended I try this restaurant. The food is fantastic and the prices are good. The restaurant could do with a new lick of paint but other than that it is great. Definitely now on my list of favourites in town.
Nile Valley Cafe The – EdinburghStunning location, great views and wonderful service.
Harvey Nichols 4th Floor Restaurant – EdinburghA very nice restaurant but the staff can be quite cheeky. Overall OK
Caprice – EdinburghWe have used this restaurant many times over the past 20 years and have always had a very nice meal. They also cater for carrying out your meal. The staff are chatty and friendly.
Omar Khayyam – EdinburghWent here after being told by lots of my friends what a great place it was. Have to say they were right, it was superb. Even my children ate everything which is a 1st.
Mussels Steak Bar – EdinburghPricey but worth it! The Edith Piaf music wafting through the air, the great wine choices, and the unbelievable choices of game meats make this restaurant a wonderful choice. Very nice for a first date or a romantic evening.
La Camargue and Cameo Bar – EdinburghRoast beef Sunday lunch was excellent, not good selection for vegetarians. Lots of menu dishes unavailable. Great staff and great surroundings.
The Living Room – EdinburghGreat indian takeaway, food is amazing, try the doner pizza with cheese on top, highly recommended. p.s chilli sauce . . . out of this world
Madras Cottage – EdinburghThai choices at lunchtime were excellent, quality very good, prices very reasonable. Recommend during day or evening. Would recommend for
Poonthais – EdinburghWithout a doubt, the finest Tapas I have tried outside of Spain. Great atmosphere, wine list and yummy liqueurs at the end of our meal! We'll be back!
Barioja Tapas Bar – EdinburghMadras cottage is a take away the portions are big and the food is fresh my choice every time
Madras Cottage – EdinburghDon't be decieved by the outside which looks like a closed shop! Go in and you will be pleasantly surprised. Lovely food, lovely waiters, lovely owner, lovely ambiance, good house red. will definitely be back
La Bruschetta – Edinburgh
