wnet for tea and wife ha dher absolute favourite which was the fish mixed grill and i had the chicken curry , both were absolutely delicious, i dont like corriander which it had in it , but i did enjoy the taste of it in the curry ate every bit . The place is spotless the staff are freindly helpful and efficient , nothing is too much trouble. Ive read some recent reveiws and i speak as i find. All i can say is they must of gone somewhere else. Weve been going for the past month or so most weeks and cannot fault the place and prices are cheaper than most others . We ll be back again

Went for Sunday roast for the first time and couldn't have hoped for more. My wife went for the roast beef and I doubled up for the roast beef and lamb. Both were cooked to perfection, the seasoned vegetables were piping hot and plentiful and the cauliflower cheese was perfect. My wife then decided on apple crumble to finish and said it was one of the best she had ever tasted. The staff were very pleasant which made our experience even more enjoyable.

this is 3rd time been in past month and wife absolutely loves the fish mixed grill. i had the gammon with eggs and chips. Omg delicious i only orderd it as guy on nxt table had it . The girls who serve on are so helpful giving advice on certain dishes to try and quick and friendly service . Cant fault the place , just great food service and value for money. Not massive portions that outface you just tehright amount . well be going again

went friday for our anniversary table 1 i had teh blade which wa sdelicious and just fell apartwife had the seafood mixed grill and it was spot on . We both love the pub its very chilled and the girls serving on are freindly efficient nothing too much trouble. love the portion size aswell. Just right not massiv overloaded as in some places. value for money and such a great and varied menu we ll be back

Visited this pub on numerous occasions. Food is excellent, cooked fresh . Staff very friendly and nothing is to much for them, all very polite. If your in the area would recommend to call in for food and drinks

Booked in for another great lunch. Food lovely and delicious. Service is brilliant. Very welcoming. A great place to have lunch with a friend and we really enjoy visiting.

Love this place & unhappy it’s not our local, or we would be living here! The staff are always super welcoming & go out of their way to ensure we have the best experience, thank you. We always eat from the Bistro menu as we find the main menu a bit la-di-da & expensive for us, but the Bistro menu has all the usual pub suspects at a very reasonable prices. Also, they stock some really good ales, though they have stopped doing 2 of our favourites, Sam Adams & Maltsmiths, but we did find a perfectly good substitute, Head something that I’ve forgotten. Absolutely stunning! We visited as group of six on Saturday evening after recommendations for friends and we can say we will definitely be back! The staff were lovely and friendly and offered answers to any questions we had. The food was just stunning, the steak was cooked perfectly for how it was ordered and well worth the money. We all left a little bit on our plates but that was only because the portions are so generous we couldn’t possibly fit anymore in! We will be back sooner rather than later as we are eager to try the Sunday lunch.

sat by teh serving desk both had the Kleftiko and it was delicious and so so tender and then had the sundaes for afters . Really nice place nice and clean andthe girls seving us were really nice and helful, thanks we will definately be back

Service needs to sharpen up ...we finished early as no one came back to the table in a timely fashion. Good food but customers first please

Roast dinners always nice and fresh very enjoyable and the staff are always nice and friendly. Top class meals and presentation.

Hot food , quick service. Great choice of veg with the roast dinner . Can’t fault it .
