Having not visited the Yeoman for many many years, we had a lovely surprise. Firstly, the decor and atmosphere was lovely. The young lady who greeted and served us was brilliant. Two of us had the smoked haddock and I had the Guinness and beef pie. Absolutely delicious and so say all of us. Apple and pear crumble and two lemon meringues to follow, brilliant. We will definitely be returning.

Been here a few times for an evening meal and never been disappointed. This time had Sunday lunch, delicious! Roast lamb and all the trimmings. Veg was plentiful and cooked well. Staff as always, attentive but not obtrusive. We will be back soon.

Had a lovely meal here and really nice drinks. Staff were very friendly but felt we waited far too long to order our food and had to ask if we could order. Afterwards we gave up waiting for the bill and went into the bar area and asked if we could pay it there. Would like to go back again maybe when it's not so busy.

I've eaten here on several occasions & have never had a complaint until yesterday evening. The table was booked for 7pm, but we had to wait until 7:30pm before we were seated. Some of us had a starter, which arrived slower than usual. The food quality was excellent, but we then had to wait an hour and 40 minutes from sitting down to receive our mains. After several complaints, we were told each time that the food was being plated up. The quality of the mains was poor, especially the vegetarian wellington, which only came with 3 small new potatoes cut in half & no other veg. We had family visiting from New Zealand, who hadn't been to the pub for years & it was embarrassing. The apology from management was poor. The excuse given that one of the cooker's was broken after we received the food was not acceptable as we should have been informed earlier that there was a problem. The attitude of some of the staff was terrible. We were extremely disappointed with the service & probably won't visit again.

Went with friends on sunday pleasant welcome waitress came over with menus & we ordered drinks nice wait then ordered our food 2 had lamb & 2 had beef both meats well cooked and presented with roast pots. & gravy dish of fresh veg again well cooked & presented, generous portions finished desserts, will be back lovely day

Amazing, food. Carrot and coriander soup was the nest inhale had. Staff really friendly, I booked late online so it hadn't gone through by the time I arrived but the staff still accommodated us. Wish I lived nearer I'd be back often.

Great value menus ( we were quite surprised at the bistro menu prices £9.95) The food was great quality and really tasty. The fish pie was fresh made and had lots of different fish and good sized prawns. The burger was huge and needed two hands to eat and the steak pie was lovely with a decently flavoured gravy. The New York cheesecake had good flavour which was complimented by the sweet berries and the passionfruit eton mess was just enough and not overly sweet. Service was good too. Havent been for food there for a while but would recommend, we have plans to return to try other items on the menu.

Our meal at the Cheshire Yeoman was first class as usual and we have no complaints whatsoever. We have tried other places now and again but we always go back to the Yeoman - the meals are always fresh and hot and the staff are always very pleasant..

Four of us booked in for Friday night. We had an excellent meal, we very good service. We will definitely return

Excellent Sunday afternoon. Great food and service. All five of us were very happy.

First time trying this place on Saturday, 4 of us. Overall there was great and no so great .. The girls who served us were lovely and helpful . Food was lovely mostly , though husbands steak was a tad colder than he’d want and a lot of my lamb was fatty so couldn’t eat . We had 3 courses and that took us 7.30-11.00 . There was no rushing which was nice to catch up with friends though if we’d have been stuck for time it would have been awkward. I’d say the flavours of the food were great and I’d like to try this place again . I’d go knowing that it takes a little longer than other “chain” restaurants.

Fantastic meal, fantastic staff, Kelly R was most helpful and a really fun person. Definitely come again.

I had a mixed kebab starter followed by chicken shahee. The food was lovely and the restaurant is well presented and warm. Looking forward to next time.

Great place for families. I had a very tasty Burrito and my wife the tofu noodles. The boy enjoyed his too and his balloon! Staff were cool and laid back

Fantastic Pub Restaurant, we have dined here regularly over the last year or so and have never been disappointed. The food is divine and the waiting staff and Manager are fantastic, couldn't have been more attentive, especially as I have 2 young boys. The wine is some of the best I have ever drank too. Thank you to all.

The food here is second to none, even on a national basis I would put this restaurant up there with the best, keep on doing what you do, it obviously works !!
