On the back from town, taxi driver recommended us, surprised to find it open was around 1. Great atmosphere inside, food was excellent we couldn't finish it all the portions were very good. Definitely go again

Been going with family since a little boy, retained original decor, excellent service. One of the best Indian food ive tasted. highly Recommend one of the best Original restaurants in Birmingham, it's the only one that's open late after midnight

If you are bored with the Indian or Italian cuisine you should try this gem in Erdington. I went with my wife and we spent 22 pound. 3 courses, included drinks and excellent hospitality. Highly recommended who wants to try the magical Hungarian cuisine.

The BEST cafe in erdington...food always good and piping hot...good value for money and staff are quick and pleasant...the boss brendon is around most days doing everything he can to help. If there is a problem which trust me is rare then he sorts it straight away. I go a few days a week just wish i could go everyday x em x

I truly appreciate this place in Star City...I believe it is a family run restaurant and the owners of Shobhas take personal interest that is why they offer real good tasty food at very reasonable prices...can highly recommend it to any one for a quick bite. Jas..ha ha ha...

India Garden is literally the best Indian restaurant in West Midlands. It was my first time their and staff were all A1 presented and were lovely. Food was so good its indescribable, and the best thing about it is how cheap and cheerful the restaurant is. We had a meal for four with wine and drinks and bill came up to only £35.00 and it could of been cheaper if we went for the £8.95 deal which they have got. £8.95 for any starters, main dishes, rice and naan, or £8.95 for the All you can eat buffet!! The best thing about that evening was when we got free deserts as a thank you for coming. I fully recommend it to anybody that loves Indian food. Best too book aswell as they are really busy due to the standards of food, soon to be a Michelin star restaurant I say.

We went to one of the buffet evenings at the India Garden and found the food varied and extremely tasty. Highly recommend a visit.

A regular visitor,once a week since opening. Superb quality,excellent choice and very friendly smiley staff. Superbly managed.The prawn toasts are to die for,and those prawn crackers. wow.Interestingly paid a visit to Modern China last week.Oh dear,say no more. No comparison. To be offered prawn toasts they must have prawns in. Say no more. Buffet island reigns supreme. One point however,wish they could do a decent banana fritter. Keep up the excellent standards. Modern China not In the same league.

very good Chinese restaurant, once you finished the dinner you can also choose your breakfast and dessert to bring it home. the birthday there is a amazing.

I like the new variety of dishes and teppanyaki is my favorite.

Average place with average food. Nothing exciting...would suit the after pub lager louts!!! Went with a family of four...doubt I will be visiting again with family!!!

Food is really nice......i had gone through all of their menus but i like the south Indians (its hot off the tawa) pav bhaji is bit on the downside but with the price the foods are worth.
