I was very wary of receiving an invitation to a meal at this place. I'm not a fan of 'Buffet' type venues as in my experience they are piled high with poor quality food. My visit was on a Saturday night and the place was absolutely rammed. We had to park our cars on the pavements as you could not get into the carparks. The service, quality of food and variety of choice was way above my expectations. A staggering choice of mains, fresh fish/salad and desserts including the famous chocolate fountain. Despite how busy it was, the staff were all friendly and helpful and I can see why Buffet Island has such an excellent reputation. I will definitely be back!

excellent food and service, Cobra was a tad expensive though, but all in all my fav place.

We have been to a few buffets and without doubt this is by far the best. The choice of food was excellent,we were very surprised to have found a large choice of desserts and the chocolate fountain is brilliant! and this wont be the last time we visit hats off to the people that run the place. thankyou it made our 2nd Anniversary very special. Highly recommended. Don? take my word for it, excellent quality food, superb choice. very popular. people waiting at the door for opening, and that is at 6pm on a Monday night.

what can I say ,,lovely lovely lovely, this place is gr8,the food excellent and what a fantastic choice ,staff polite and very friendly, ambience relaxed and friendly .this is a consistently high standard restaurant (my family and myself and friends just keep coming back) I recommend it to everyone thanks Julie..

Went there after reading the reviews on here when we were staying nearby. All I can say is excellent! Love the Chocolate Fountain!

Took my 2 boys and baby daughter with me on the afternoon and it was fantastic, have been back 4 times since and my sons want their birthdays celebrated there with a few friends from school...they are aged 6 and 9!! so go...its gr8

I go to Buffet Island every week, absolutely love it!!!! I love Chinese food, especially here - so much choice and variety with a great price. FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been going to buffet island in Erdington for months now with both family and friends. Its a gr8 place. I had a birthday party there and it was gr8 fun. Thank you to all the management and staff

Brilliant place, excellent owners. I've been there a few times with my family and with the owners son (i am a teenager). Im very good friends with both of the sons (sonny and ying) and am well known to the owners of this restaurant (lee huang and sue huang) so if anyone wants dibs on food there ask me :).

This is a great place to take your family out for a meal. I have been several times now and the staff are very helpful and make you feel at home. When you come in and when you leave they take the time to welcome you. Food is great and the variety especially the deserts (which I Love) is brilliant for the price. I would recommend this Restaurant to anyone...

Visited on several occasions. The decor is bright yet tranquil. Service is very good, but tops for quality of food. May not be the biggest portions, but superbly cooked, and wonderful flavours. Recommend the shaslick to start. Give it a try.

I enjoyed myself at this place, I recommended it to all the FUNJI lovers out there. I thought he was the best waiter there and it was kind of him to let me take wipes home with me and my mate was even allowed to take a glass home! we were so happy, we are treasuring the stuff ... Thank you! x x x
