Excellent food, first class service, and a great atmosphere

Food, service and atmosphere was fabulous. I couldn’t fault any of it.

Drinks. Amazing. Food. Amazing. Environment. Amazing. Live entertainment on a Friday evening (some bloke singing along to some backing tracks). Awful. Spoilt what was a lovely atmosphere before started. Toilets. Some kids had splayed sauce all over the gents. Annoying enough but not cleaned up thoroughly. So detracted from the nice evening.

The food is cooked by a generously proportioned, friendly chef and the food reflects that. It really is excellent. All the Hotel staff were so helpful.

Excellent service, food & ambiance

We were a family party of 24 seated in the private room. We had excellent food with generous portions. Those with dietary needs were well catered for. The service prior to our visit and during our meal was excellent. The staff could not do enough for us. A most enjoyable meal and experience.

The food was lovely. The staff were friendly and the pub was warm and clean. The food came to the table in good time. We were sat in a quiet room, which suited us, but it did get busier the nearer the bar the tables were, which is how it should be.

A lovely meal and well worth the price. My daughter and I had a very enjoyable experience and it wasn't even crowded for a Saturday.

Live local and always went here. Last meal at 4 was late and not all good. This Sunday backed to superb Sunday lunch for 3. All fresh tender and hot Will be back soon

We met up with family here for a birthday celebration. I had booked a table and it was ready when we arrived. I had the braised lamb and it was absolutely delicious. It was served with creamy mashed potatoes, vegetables and lashings of very tasty gravy. Everyone else enjoyed their meals too. Steak and kidney pie, chicken and leeks in cheese sauce, and gammon, egg and chips. Great menu with plenty to choose from. We have dined here many times and will be back before too much longer. We don't live local enough to come as frequently as we would like.

Can't fault this little gem situated in the heart of Garstang. Eaten here a few times now and the food has been on point and the staff are very attentive and friendly.
