Attended the Metricks collab Steak night. Exceeded expectations in every respect. Learnt so much and food was divine. O my drawback was getting too full so I couldn’t polish everything off.

The Two Hares – GlossopVisited on Saturday night. Food really tasty and great quality. Staff friendly and very helpful.
The Two Hares – GlossopA group of nine of us came to celebrate a double birthday on Saturday night, with us bringing some friends who had not visited before. Most of us had two - three courses and every single dish was outstanding. The service from Nadia was fantastic and every member of the team was lovely. This is a fantastic restaurant with a very high standard of food prepared with the best ingredients. We have visited many times and will continue to do so. Keep up the great work
The Two Hares – GlossopAs always the Sunday lunch was absolutely delicious and the staff, as they invariably are, were very friendly and attentive. A real, warming treat on a wet and cold October day.
The Two Hares – GlossopReally lovely food, friendly service, good value - we went for Steak Saturday, and everything was perfect!
The Two Hares – GlossopCelebrated a double birthday here, the lovely staff were very welcoming, efficient, adding just the right level of attentiveness, without being overly intrusive. The food was of a very good standard across the board, tasty, well prepared and well presented, reasonably priced too! Would happily recommend to others, and return! Big shout out to Nadia, who was great, and helped make a very enjoyable evening that much better!
The Two Hares – GlossopHaving had good meals there before, we booked a meal to celebrate our anniversary and we were so well looked after. The food was lovely with generous portions for our roasts - and in particular the desserts were spectacularly tasty. The atmosphere was cheery and the service really attentive. And a shout-out to the Two Hares for providing a surprise course to celebrate with us. All-in-all, we had a great time.
The Two Hares – GlossopCannot praise The Two Hares enough. From starters through to mains & then desserts (expect seasonal changes) we experienced a perfect meal. Nadia (front of house) could not have been more welcoming.& accommodating.
The Two Hares – GlossopWe have been to the Two Hares many times but when we have a special occasion (or even when we don't!) we always come to Two Hares, especially for the Sunday Roast. We love the quality of the food (cauliflower cheese is to die for!), the atmosphere and the attentiveness of thw hosts. It is our favourite restaurant, bar none!
The Two Hares – GlossopAn excellent evening at The Two Hares, to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The staff always make us very welcome. The menu is wide ranging and the standard of cooking and presentation is of the highest order. The service is top rate too. Looking forward to our next visit!
The Two Hares – GlossopA dinner for our wedding anniversary which didn't disappoint. The service from welcome to departure couldn't have been better. The food was cooked to perfection, cod with curry sauce and onion bhaji goes surprisingly well. We'll definitely be back.
The Two Hares – GlossopWhat a fabulous evening.! Not only did we have some delicious food we also learnt so much about the history of Glossop. The food we ate tied in with the stories that were told. Clearly a lot of thought and time had gone in to the food preparation and each course was unique and very tasty. As always the three girls serving were charming, polite and enthusiastic. Matthew Cox was entertaining and so knowledgeable about Glossop and it's history. Everything about the evening was first class. Thank you for such an enjoyable time.
The Two Hares – GlossopMe and my husband attended the history of Glossop evening with 5 course tasting menu and it was just fantastic. Matthew the historian was not only informative but kept us entertained through the whole evening. I learnt so much about the local area and it was truly fascinating. Then the food to match that was just mind blowing. My favourite dishes were the lamb and the suet pudding. I'd definitely attend another evening like this as it's not something I've ever been to before. My only critique is I wanted a mocktail as I don't drink which I ordered, however when we got the bill we'd been charged £10 which is the cost of the cocktail which I thought was a bit unfair as It doesn't contain any alcohol. Apart from that though the evening was flawless. Would highly recommend!
The Two Hares – GlossopThree of us had a meal on Saturday 20 Sept, each having different menu choices, including from the veggie menu, and they were all excellent, as was the service - particularly as a member of staff went above & beyond to reunite me with my phone after I carelessly left it behind.
The Two Hares – GlossopFantastic food. As a vegetarian it's great to be offered something I've never eaten before. Really enjoyed it.
The Two Hares – GlossopGreat Sunday lunch. Staff were brilliant! Well done
