Two of us had dinner on a cold January night. The warmth of the welcome and vibrant atmosphere immediately made us sure we’d made the right decision to brave the elements outside. Staff front of house couldn’t have been more accommodating and helped with non alcoholic cocktails and wine choices. Starters, mains and dessert were all first class and incredible value for money. We’re fortunate to have such a talented team working in Glossop. Many thanks.

This was a NYE 7 course tasting menu. The atmosphere was excellent and we were made to feel so welcome. We could see the chef Paul from our seat and it was amazing to see him bring the tasty beautiful dishes together. The service was excellent, how everyone got the right course was spot on.

Enjoyed the meal and cosy setting. We had a roast dinner. It was a nice meal but for the price I expected something more exceptional. The beef was quite chewy. Service charge was also added automatically and I think there should be a choice if you want to tip dependant on service. The service was great though and staff helpful and friendly.

We had booked Hyssop on our last journey to Glossop and were so sad to miss the date due to the tragic fare. Our visit on Friday was very special to us to see our eldest son and his girlfriend and with the winds howling and rain lashing we did no what to expect The evening was excellent in everyday and well worth the 3 year wait Thankyou

We visited the Two Hares on Saturday evening for a girls Christmas catch-up. Food was fabulous including some really lovely vegetarian options. Great wine too and service was absolutely spot on. Thoroughly enjoyed and we'll definitely return.

Came for Tapas Thursday, the food was another level of gorgeous, really good. Staff friendly and helpful, drinks and cocktails yummy. The cost for food at this level was amazing value for money. Would highly recommend.

We were a group of eight. The food was amazing. Great flavours and perfect portion sizes. Great value too. The cocktails were really good. The atmosphere was very nice and the waiting staff were friendly and extremely attentive and helpful. Would definitely recommend to all.

Stunning food and first class service. We are so lucky to have this special place right on our doorstep. We already booked again for 2 weeks time! Highly recommend!

Been to this restaurant on many occassions. Cannot pick any fault whatsoever. We enjoy taking our friends to the restaurant as we know they wont be disappointed. Fantastic food, fantastic staff and fantastic service.

We have eaten at La Bodega 4 or 5 times since it opened and have always been very impressed by the food and ambience. It is a small space but they serve up extremely authentic Spanish Tapas. Wine is good value too - Highly recommended,

We went here last night for a meal, the staff were very friendly and made you feel really welcome. The food was fantastic and very reasonable priced. The bill was £90 for 4 including 2 bottles of a lovely red Rioja, with loads of tapas dishes. I would definitely recommend this place and will definitely be going again. The lamb stew was to die for.

I've praised them elsewhere but they deserve praise everywhere for their gorgeous range of goods and their fabulous service. Visit this place and leave happy.
