It's OK but the food could have been better. The place is lovely, nice staff but the music is really quite loud, that being said the restaurant was not busy but I can expect it can be very loud in there when there are many people. The service was fast and staff were attentive and friendly. Gave a warm welcome. The food is not worth the money, we love Italian food and unfortunately this was not high up on our list. The mozzarella sticks were standard shop bought stuff and the pasta mains were not that great. The meatballs were plain and the carbonara was a bit off. It wasn't bad but just nowhere near the taste and quality of other Italian restaurants, as such it is not value for money. We would not go back.

Excellent evening, great food, as always. Great friendly service and festive atmosphere. Live music was good but TOO LOUD! Otherwise everything was great.

My wife and I had been told of this restaurant by relatives and thankfully we took their advice and booked a table. As we had arrived early we went into the bar for a pre dinner drink. It had a good atmosphere and the staff very friendly. The food in the restaurant was excellent, as were the staff. Although it was late afternoon the restaurant was still fairly busy and had a real good buzz about the place. We had three courses with wine and drinks and we were pleasantly surprised when the bill arrived When we come back to Gloucester we would definitely eat here again

Best pizza's in Gloucester, no question. Always great service and range of food. Would highly recommend

I went to this restaurant with my partner last night for a birthday. Upon arrival was greeted by hosts, and shown the bar. The bartenders were accomodating to our needs and very friendly. The rest of the visit was amazing we loved the food, and will definitely be back again in the future. Thank you so much for a lovely evening .

Another lovely meal at Settabello. Are use the restaurant on a regular basis and I have never been disappointed. The staff are really nice

We live locally but this was our first visit to the restaurant. It was a Saturday night, our table was at 8.15pm, we had friends join us from Cardiff for the meal. All of us felt the food was very good, only dropped to 4 stars because the steaks could have been better. That said very enjoyable food, all starters very good (Prawns, calamari, bruschetta abd wrapped Mozzarella), pizzas were great too. The sirloin were cooked well but very fatty. We felt it was very good value foroney. Unfortunately the service and atmosphere let the experience down. On arrival we were greeted by a very friendly man, but our waitress was miserable and clearly wanted to get rid of us! Added to that, we were sat next to a large table of people who were extremely loud/drunk, not the restaurants fault but it meant we couldn't hold a conversation and it made the experience uncomfortable. That said we will return, probably not on a Saturday night though.

Service and food were excellent our server Brady was outstanding and very friendly 10/10 all round definitely will recommend

The meal we had last night was nice, but not what I was expecting. Soufflé, gorgeous. Sea bass - such a tiny portion! The prawns were lovely. The anchovy pasta, I felt was over priced and lacked any flavour of anchovies - no lovely salty kick. Just a bit bland. The service though was lovely, really informed staff and all very kind.

Such great service, and really great food. Pizza is great, would thoroughly recommend.

Excellent food and service

Okay guys Food excellent Serving Staff excellent But our booking was at 9.15 and it appeared as we were on a race to eat quickly. Although we weren’t informed of this. No longer had we finished the starter ie put our forks down, the table was cleared and wham ban our main course was delivered. Same happened with our desert. Totally spoilt the meal. Your dishes are quite generous so having them rush at you isn’t good. Then as we where a later dinner couple a staff member was clearing the empty tables of olive oil I think. And with no asking she just reached across us to grab the bottle on our table. Again a minor item but it shouldn’t happen.
