Great as always. Staff make all the difference too!

Excellent welcome. We were treated really well. Having been told that there would be a wait due to a large group on another table placing their order, we were offered free starters. As it happened there was no additional wait, but we were very grateful for the bread and olives. When our main courses arrived we all agreed that il cibo era belissimo.

Lovely atmosphere, food delicious and service outstanding. I think the prices are good and reflective of an independent restaurant which I will always support. We will definitely return.

4 of us had a great meal last Thursday evening. We all had starters, mains and desserts plus drinks. All dishes were thoroughly enjoyed. Service was prompt and attentive without being intrusive. I would certainly recommend and will definitely return when next in Gloucester.

All amazing. Quite expensive for what you get, but in our experience this is often the way with Italian. Can’t fault the food, atmosphere or service!!

Overall, disappointing. We've been wanting to eat here for some time and noted how busy it always is. The food was 'nice', but in my opinion, expensive for what was served. Cocktails, again, expensive for what was served. Given the choice between here or an old favourite in Bristol, I'd drive back to Bristol in future. There wasn't anything wrong with the food, it just fell short of expectations/hopes, especially given the place is always so busy. That said, my son was happy with his pizza/calzone combination and the Olives were amazing.

Yesterday, the 10/09/22 I visited this restuarant for my partners birthday, and left the restuarant very disappointed in thr service I received in comparison to the other diners. I emailed the restuarant later on yin the evening to express my concern, but got no reply and instead got an automated reply to provide a review and so I shall. I came into this restuarant this evening for my partners birthday. Despite the food being lovely I was very disappointed in the service I received. Firstly, I mentioned on the booking that it was my partners birthday, and although I expected nothing to come from it, two other guests had birthdays and were sung to and given a free desert. Lastly, my partner and I noticed that everyone who got the bil got complimentary limoncello at the end. My partner and I did not even get offered any and so we're quite disappointed as it would have been a nice way to end the evening, but given that everyone else was given some, it was upsetting that we were not. Why we were treated differently to the other guests I am not sure but as most would understand, we left the restuarant upset and disappointed.

We decided to have a meal out after spending the day moving into our new house. The staff were lovely and attentive and the food was great. We are going again on 1st October for a family birthday meal. We are looking forward to it.

The staff were friendly and professional. The food was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble. For the first time, we sat outside as the weather was so perfect. It was as if we were on holiday in Italy. Thank you

Visited on Sunday lunch time , food was nice and staff were efficient . My daughter found a piece of ham in her vegan pasta half the way through eating it , all we were offered was not to pay for it or a free drink . I think it was a genuine mistake , think chef was over zealous throwing the ham on my pizza but think it was handled badly , it should not have been left for the waiter to keep saying sorry but could do no more . This restaurant boasts about its vegan menu !
