Our experience at Settebello was mixed. The atmosphere was lively but occasionally quite chaotic between the staff however it was a Saturday night. Our waitress was amazing, very kind and attentive. Unfortunately, the waitress made a mistake and got one of our dishes wrong, we did not mind at all as we were chatting and understand different dishes cook at different rates so waiting for the right dish was no issue - we expressed this to the servers and the waitress. Even after this, one of the gentlemen was verbally rude to the waitress in the middle of the restaurant in front of customers and physically slapped her on the forehead. This may be traditional Italian behaviour but not necessary to your staff for honest mistakes and was very inappropriate. We reassured the waitress it was not an issue however she seemed upset by the situation. So disheartening to see a lovely place have quite aggressive male servers employed.

With a group of 8, myself and my wife has calamari to share, although there was a large helping it had excessive batter and all we could taste the cooking oil. The main dish was supposed to be slow cooked lamb shoulder, what arrived was lamb cutlets on a small bed of mash potato that disintegrated in the watery sauce that it was served in. We did question the lamb when ordering and the waitress didn’t know the difference The staff were very nice and made what would of been a bad experience bearable. In all an over priced and underwhelming meal

Better than the average Italian restaurant - better and more varied food and without the hard sell and extra cost for "sides". Very crowded and noisy on a Saturday evening, which indicates how good this place is. The pizzas are authentically Neapolitan, and quite large! Attentive and efficient service.

We booked the restaurant for a business stay during Cheltenham after reading the fantastic reviews, it's fair to say the experience definitely lived up to the reviews. The staff were excellent, very enthusiastic, efficient and provided good humor. The food itself was exquisite with a great variety, really good value for money and amazing dessert offerings. Highly recommend the Pizza selection! We spent over 2 hours there enjoying the food and atmosphere, will be back next year!

The main menu offers a wide selection of authentic Italian dishes, cocktails, wines and beers and the set menu is great value. Enjoyed the arancini, pizza Margherita, parmigiana di melanzane during a recent visit for lunch. Attentive and friendly service.

I have eaten here on multiple occasions with friends, family and number times as a solo guest. The food, drink and service never disappoints and I would recommend to absolutely everyone. I'm looking forward to my next visit!
