Great food, fab service and plenty of choice - just a lovely place to eat!

Visited to celebrate my Mum's Birthday. Service was great, the staff were friendly, attentive and couldn't do enough for you. However, the food is really expensive. If you order something that is not italian like Seabass or Fishcake the meal is very small and leave you wanting more. For instance the Fishcake, you get three small ones and a bit of rocket, to try and make it a meal you need to add fries which costs an additional £5. So all in all £18. The fries are also very salty, you should have the choice of adding salt. Not really fitting for such a cost. Likewise the Seabass. You get a single side and about 3 potatoes halved. You can get 2x fillets of similar size from Sainsburys for less than £5. Both mains are expensive for what they are. Not good. Also for a starter the Calamari is £10. The portion has shrunk since the last time I went and the cost has increased by £2. Also the pizza, the cooked dough reminds me of a pancake. It is so limp and uninteresting, again £15. So not impressed with the quantity or quality. I think I will stick with Zizii's, just as expensive but you get good portions, the food is tasty and their Pizza is much better. Atmosphere is ok at Settebello, however it is very hard to have a coversation and quite often you cannot hear each other and you have to try and lip read..

Fabulous meal, great choice of food. Lovely friendly attentive staff. Nice setting and atmosphere. Our second visit to this eatery. We will return.

Excellent place for a team lunch...food amazing as always...loved the Christmas feel

It was our first visit to Settebello, my wife, myself and our son celebrating a landmark birthday. We visited at lunchtime and it was not really busy. The staff were attentive and the food was very good. We all had pasta dishes, which were quoted as excellent all round, along with quality sorbets and coffee you could taste was coffee! The atmosphere will no doubt be lively on a busy evening but was equally good for a comfortable lunchtime event with the kitchen at one side and pleasant surroundings of the docks on the other. Thank you!

Service - excellent! Food - excellent! Service - excellent! Location - excellent! Only slight down - was a bit cold… I was sat under the air con and it was a bit chilly. But still HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Staff friendly and attentive, restaurant and toilets very clean, Great service, very little room between tables and chairs and every time the person on the chair behind me moved I felt everything, it was incredibly loud in there and I struggled to hear the other people on my table, Can't fault the food, everything with the food was just fabulous, reasonable portion size and considering the place was packed the food wasn't to long coming out. Only thing I do feel could use some improvement is that when they come with the drinks if they could clear the empty glasses from the table, some waiting staff did and some didnt!

Perfect food and service. Only downside was the noise level in restaurant which made it hard to have a conversation without straining.

Great location, excellent service with very friendly staff. We had 3 courses with both starters and desserts delicious. My husband enjoyed his chicken. Though the hake was perfectly cooked, I found the overall dish a little bland for my taste. We would definitely eat there again.

The food was lovely, we had the cheapest wine and it was fabulous as well!
