We took some friends from America for Sunday lunch. They were very impressed. Two of us had the Italian roast lunch - porchetta and roast vegetables. It was delicious, with the taste and scent of lots of herbs (I have been wanting to try porchetta for some time). The other two had Spaghetti with Polpette della Nonna and Spaghetti Carbonara. We had a lovely time. Good food and good company.

Davide and his team took exceptional care of us , we sat in the courtyard area with heaters on and were checked on to make sure we were all warm enough. I can't recommend this place enough. A warm and welcoming atmosphere. Tracey and Katie are so welcoming along with the other girls. Paul and Jenna are excellent hosts. Will not go anywhere else.

The service was good and friendly, a little too quick to clear the table as one person was still eating. Having said that the waiter was excellent in every other way

The Masons Arms – CirencesterSeated quickly but had to ask for drinks order to be taken. Starters disappointing. Tempura prawns were not tempura batter it was very thick like fish batter obviously bought in. Very rich sauce with sea bass couldn't finish it. Very noisy, cackling party really over the top. Wouldn’t rush back. Expensive.

We were impressed with the willingness to offer gluten-free options, and having a good selection of vegetables is more than many restaurants offer.

Wye Valley Catering – ColefordWent on Saturday whilst visiting Tewksbury. A friendly welcome by staff as soon as you arrived. Food and service was excellent with a relaxed atmosphere. Only one thing perhaps could be looked at; price of a bottle of wine. Maybe a £14/£15 starting point rather than £22 Would recommend.

The service was very good and the food was absolutely beautiful, the pizzas were the best we’ve had in the uk and the portion sizes are very generous - thank you all so much for an amazing experience (the cocktails were also fantastic!)
