We had Sunday lunch, it was the best Sunday lunch, you would have to go along way to beat it. Food was excellent, staff very friendly and outstanding service. It was nice to relax by the fire after lunch. If you want a good lunch make your way to The Miners, Sling you won't be disappointed. Can't wait for the next visit.

Food, Service and Price were great, atmosphere for me didn't feel very warm. The little area near the fireplace looked lovely, we were sat just opposite (Table 4?), would prefer something at little more cosy, but this is just my personal taste.

Staff friendly and attentive, restaurant and toilets very clean, Great service, very little room between tables and chairs and every time the person on the chair behind me moved I felt everything, it was incredibly loud in there and I struggled to hear the other people on my table, Can't fault the food, everything with the food was just fabulous, reasonable portion size and considering the place was packed the food wasn't to long coming out. Only thing I do feel could use some improvement is that when they come with the drinks if they could clear the empty glasses from the table, some waiting staff did and some didnt!

Excellent Sunday Lunch We dropped by the pub for Sunday lunch with friends. This is one of those traditional country pubs that is so hard to find these days. There were four of us and we had two good sized Sunday roasts; beef and pork with crackling, Yorkshire puddings, gravy and mountains of fresh vegetables. It was delivered to the table and we carved it ourselves which was rather fun. The staff were delightful, so courteous and welcoming. The food really was excellent, cooked to perfection and there were so many charming and thoughtful little touches which told us that the staff really cared and wanted to produce very special meals for everybody. We didn’t have room for pudding but we had them anyway. Each plate was a masterpiece of beautifully presented food. This was a truly delicious, very special meal and I can’t not recommend The Minors more highly.

We absolutely love this place. Came across it quite by chance maybe a year or so ago and now treat ourselves when we can. Food is great, ambience is warm and happy and the staff absolutely fabulous. Just love it.

A lovely lunch with friends in this super cosy restaurant. The service was just right. It was friendly and extremely helpful without being too much. We are not local, but feel the need to find another excuse to visit Tewkesbury just to create an opportunity to enjoy the restaurant again.
