My first visit, and I'll be back! 5 of us had great starters (calamari/cheese sticks), then excellent pizzas/pasta. I even fitted in the pannacotta (with gorgeous cherries!). Lovely attentive staff. Nice toilets too!

Wye Valley Catering – Coleford4pm tea/dinner before Glaws rugby game. Nice place, great food reasonable price. Sharing board to start loads of meat, cheese and breads. Penne with beef shin and slow cooked pork belly for mains delicious. Let down was white chocolate "cheesecake" not as I'd expect. Staff attentive but not overpowering and nice setting and atmosphere.

The service is friendly, professional and professional. The pub has a lovely feel to it, traditional, warm and welcoming. The food is fantastic, personally I love the ploughman's as it has a mix of everything and the chocolate dessert is a must. It is well priced and tastes amazing. This place will not disappoint.

We had beef chilli nachos and halloumi fries to start both were very enjoyable. Main course we had the mason’s burger and the chicken burger - again both very tasty and enjoyable. Great value for money would definitely recommend

I can eat thé best foccacio bread sandwich that I have ever tasted, utterly scrumptious, my favourite is called Moricone and it is divine. Try it yourself! In addition the staff are friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere buzzing, what more can any one want at lunch time!
