A lovely lunch with friends in this super cosy restaurant. The service was just right. It was friendly and extremely helpful without being too much. We are not local, but feel the need to find another excuse to visit Tewkesbury just to create an opportunity to enjoy the restaurant again.

Fabulous pub

Great location, excellent service with very friendly staff. We had 3 courses with both starters and desserts delicious. My husband enjoyed his chicken. Though the hake was perfectly cooked, I found the overall dish a little bland for my taste. We would definitely eat there again.

A great evening out, as always. Excellent, hot, tasty food, good choices with excellent house wines. Attentive staff, my one spoiler was leaving my goody pack of superb chips (they were big portions) behind on the bar!!

How lucky is the Forest of Dean to have this place. For those of you who have never been here you don’t know what your missing. Starting with the welcome, It’s so lovely to be greeted by a smiling waitress who shows you to your table to then take your drink order and a few minutes later takes your order to return with a beautifully presented plate of deliciously prepared food. Praise to the chefs and all the staff including the owner for a lovely relaxed evening in beautiful surroundings. Thank you.

Fantastic Sunday roast. You all get a joint of meat to carve for yourself!! The veg was lovely and fresh and well cooked. Really lovely and attentive staff. Will definitely be coming back.

Italian treasure in Tewkesbury! Beautiful authentic Italian food in a relaxed setting. Brilliant service and very reasonable priced.

Delicious food, excellent friendly service, authentically Italian, great atmosphere and decor….what’s not to like! My favourite local eating place. And my well behaved spaniel was welcomed and gives it the paws up too.

As always, welcoming and attentive service with friendly staff. The food was excellent, as always. The only place for a good night out in Gloucester.
