Lovely lovely food, we always enjoy eating here. Nice relaxed environment and service. Fish and chips deal on a Friday is delicious and their pies are lush!

Over booked ! Had to wait 45 minutes for our food to come out . We had the streak and pudding deal . Steak was on the tough side . Partner asked for no tomato and he had tomato on his salad which he had to ask to be changed. We was asked if we wanted any sauce ‘s but the vinegar didn’t turn up so had to asked again Nobody came back to see if our meal was okay . We went to pay and there was two extra drinks on the bill. Disappointed with the meal and serves. Had better in the pasted visits

Another great meal, four of us this time. All had different mains, all lovely and very enjoyable. Food is excellent, highly recommend but probably need to book on peak days. Staff always great, local gins, extensive wine list and produce local. Talented chef, pleasant food, good vibe! Thank you for another good evening.

Attended a taster evening with wine pairing which was the most amazing experience, The service was excellent, staff were attentive and professional. Each course was presented well and tasted delicious. The wine worked well with each course , enhancing the flavours . The atmosphere was buzzing, everyone sharing the passion of the staff in their love of food and wine .

A regular venue for us. Always friendly and very helpful. The menu is always interesting and the food so tasty and "italian!" We are almost, “ reluctant “ to write a review about Pot luck Monday because we don’t want to “ broadcast “ how fabulous it is. The best food around and such a tremendous bargain! We have been coming to the Miners for years and have never had a bad meal.The food is superb and the atmosphere, welcoming. What luck to have such a restaurant / pub in the area

We had an amazing night and the food and service was top class. It was busy but we weren’t rushed. We will definitely eat there again.

We booked a table while driving down the M5 very easily, having only briefly read the reviews online. For a Friday evening the restaurant was not busy so the service was excellent and the food even better. We enjoyed the dinner so much that we came back for lunch the following day as we were staying locally. Highly recommended xx

We had the most amazing roast dinner here. It arrived on a sharing platter the most delicious huge joint of pork with yorkshire's roast potatoes new potatoes and freshly cooked vegetables. and a lovely jug of tasty gravy . Staff were super friendly and the pub had a lovely welcoming feel to it. I would highly recommend anyone to book this amazing feast on a sunday and probably pre book like we did. My only disapointment was we had no room to enjoy what looked like amazing desserts too xx Thank you soo much oh and also the kids fish and chips was fabulous too my grandson really enjoyed it. Ohh and yes cauliflower cheese even offered as an extra to buy would have given it an 11/10 xx

Spot on food and service. Was very loud in restaurant, struggled to hear others at the table and waiting staff, perhaps one or two soft furnishings needed to help with the acoustics. But zero complaints about the food!

Easy to book in-line. Friendly helpful accommodating staff. Excellent food.
