Sunday lunch at the Miners last weekend. Absolutely excellent! Good quality veg , scrumptious roast potatoes and tender beef. Really friendly and helpful staff team.

We always enjoy dining at the Miners, food quality is excellent (largely local suppliers) and one of the few places I’d order steak. Service is top class, always a friendly welcome, they seem to have been working on table layout which does let the place down a bit if you’re dining as a couple, you can end up as an island surrounded on all sides by other groups. We dine during the week as well as weekends, Sunday roast here is the best for miles

Yet another great Sunday roast. Our 5 person party included a vegan and a gluten free. All catered for admirably. Lots and lots of meat and plenty of veg with the red cabbage being especially nice. Staff all friendly and efficient. Highly recommended. Keith

Great food, fab service and plenty of choice - just a lovely place to eat!

Visited to celebrate my Mum's Birthday. Service was great, the staff were friendly, attentive and couldn't do enough for you. However, the food is really expensive. If you order something that is not italian like Seabass or Fishcake the meal is very small and leave you wanting more. For instance the Fishcake, you get three small ones and a bit of rocket, to try and make it a meal you need to add fries which costs an additional £5. So all in all £18. The fries are also very salty, you should have the choice of adding salt. Not really fitting for such a cost. Likewise the Seabass. You get a single side and about 3 potatoes halved. You can get 2x fillets of similar size from Sainsburys for less than £5. Both mains are expensive for what they are. Not good. Also for a starter the Calamari is £10. The portion has shrunk since the last time I went and the cost has increased by £2. Also the pizza, the cooked dough reminds me of a pancake. It is so limp and uninteresting, again £15. So not impressed with the quantity or quality. I think I will stick with Zizii's, just as expensive but you get good portions, the food is tasty and their Pizza is much better. Atmosphere is ok at Settebello, however it is very hard to have a coversation and quite often you cannot hear each other and you have to try and lip read..

Came for Sunday lunch as 4 girlfriends, the butchers board was fabulous. The roast beef was cooked perfectly. Would highly recommend

Excellent place for a team lunch...food amazing as always...loved the Christmas feel

For midweek in late November, we were surprised and pleased to see how busy Miner's was. Great to see the efforts they are going to with special options on different nights. Despite the excellent 'dine out for a tenner' option, we opted for the excellent Suet pie (why not pudding?). We both loved it and the red cabbage alongside. Service was friendly and efficient. We will definitely call in again.

Always a great night out. Food fantastic and service excellent. Looking forward to next time. Being gluten intolerant is no problem in this excellent restaurant.

We are so lucky to have this gem in our Tewkesbury crown. Amazing welcome from Davida and staff. Food and service can't be beaten and don't get me started on the ice creams ....delicious and you can still remember the taste days later...
