Great food and service as always.

As always we received a genuinely warm personal welcome from Davido and had a most enjoyable evening with two friends who were new to the restaurant. They thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of their evening, as did we! Attentive and courteous staff, delicious food and a friendly ambience throughout the evening. We look forward to our next visit!

Fabulous lunch as always with beautiful authentic Italian food and wine. The ambience has the feel of a large family gathering with friendly service from David and the team, can highly recommended.

Excellent food and service in a delightful country pub (in village with delightful church for a stroll after lunch). Good selection of dishes for our party's various food requirements - everyone could find something to enjoy. I'm sure we'll be back again!

Birthday dinner with friends from Cheltenham, they come over as it’s the best Italian they have ever had! Lovely restaurant with truly authentic Italian food. Once you’ve eaten here you’ll never go elsewhere!

Lovely meal

Best place for lunch in the area. The food is excellent - fresh and tasty. The portions are very generous. The atmosphere is a cosy country pub, and the value for money is amazing. I thoroughly recommend!

As usual, greatest pizza of Gloucester. Tried for the first time the "Bufalona", was terrific. Great service and atmosphere.

We went here after my daughter’s graduation, the food was lovely and good portions. The service was good and we weren’t rushed.

Have visited on many occasions and I cannot fault it. The food is amazing, I'm vegetarian and I'm always spoilt for choice. Went for Sunday lunch at the weekend and it was as good as ever. The staff are friendly and attentive.

Excellent food, service and atmosphere

We had a most enjoyable family meal to celebrate my wife's birthday.

The Croft is set in a prime location in one of the most picturesque places imaginable so they could probably survive with mediocre food and service. Fortunately that’s not the case. We had the ‘Croft Breakfast’ that was both delicious and plentiful, 2 sausage’s, 2 eggs, beans, shrooms, hash brown, bacon and toast. All the ingredients seemed to be good quality and were well cooked. Our server was welcoming and friendly and gave us a window view. All in all you really can’t go wrong with The Croft, it’s an easy 5 stars
