Food was excellent. The evening's fish & chips were a cut above the usual and great value. The mornings English bfast was also excellent and worth the wait. Will make it part of our plans if we get a chance to travel this way again.

Trattoria Settebello – GloucesterExcellent last night of the holiday meal. Great to see the use of local produce. Not cheap but good value for money; the night we went they had special on a rump steak with all the trimmings plus choc brownie dessert for £20. Good portion sizes. We also shared the seafood platter/Baltic board (delicious) as a starter which nearly did for me – luckily, husband more than happy to help finish my half! Bit surprised that no bread included in cost of that but could've been worse (just under a fiver if I remember correctly). Would book again if in the area.

Caffe e Vino – TewkesburyThe pork was cooked really well. Good choice of vegetables, however we thought the vegetables were not seasoned much. The pudding menu was a bit disappointing, we get fed up with sticky toffee pudding & the cost of a sweet, the chocolate choice @ 9.50 is quite expensive.
