Had a lovely dinner here with family. It was quiet as we were dining quite early (5.15pm), so we got plenty of attention from the staff. Generous portions and really tasty and hot. I have never had mussels in curry before, so I went for that, and it was delicious. Couldn't manage a pudding. The beer I had was extremely well kept, with a smooth creamy head (ipa). Would visit again next time in the area.

Lovely relaxed atmosphere. Delightful food, wine and service. It feels like you are in Puglia!

Beautiful meals! Met up with friends, and had pie of the day, cajun chicken and I the fish board. Wish I could upload a photo of the platter, it would sell itself! Great service, lovely evening out, thank you.

Visited for a mid week dinner but were disappointed when the food came out cold had to then wait while the food was re-cooked the second time the meal was good but feel the food should have been correct the first time. There was no apology

We were made to feel very welcome throughout our evening. A varied and interesting menu. The different options of menu throughout the week is a great idea. Our food was excellent, service great and good value for money . If we return to the area we will definitely be coming back to the Miners.

EVino is the best Italian restaurant we know outside of Italy. Davide and Francesco and the team are the friendliest hosts. The food and wine is exceptional, could benefit from more vegetarian options. We always enjoy our visits to eVino, whether it is for coffee, lunch , evening meal. Or a divine gelato on a hot sunny day.

We have visited the Croft a few times and usually always have fantastic service and a good meal. However yesterday, the meal was lovely but the service wasn’t great. Not anywhere near the usual standard we receive. We will be returning but hopefully it is better next time.

The meal was fantastic, the service excellent. Our waiter offered excellent advice. Will definitely be back again.

A gem. I always get excited when an Italian restaurant offers veal. Normally suggests it’s a ‘proper’ Italian. This is a ‘proper’ Italian. Food was exceptional. Desserts amazing. Tried some I’ve never seen before. Wine reasonably priced. We loved it so much we went back for brunch the next morning. My poached eggs, crispy prosciutto and spinach on toasted bread was very good indeed. We all even managed a cheeky brunch ‘dessert’ as well. A fantastic gem of a place.

Wonderful food, service, atmosphere and value for money as usual. Just one thing, unrelated, on leaving the carpark, a big surprise dip between the carpark and the main road!

It’s refreshing to find a quality Italian restaurant open at lunchtime, lovely staff, quality service and excellent food, we will definitely return and would highly recommend.

First visit for me, pub nicely decorated and clean. The layout in the restaurant seemed a little strange but maybe they were expecting large parties. Nice garden, wish it had been a little warmer the day I visited. Although we had to wait quite a while for our food when it came it was delicious

Staff were so so helpful - visited at the weekend with my friend and had some trouble with my mains (my fault not the restaurant!) and they quickly resolved for me and were really attentive. Food was delicious and will be back :)

Great evening meal with friends, service, food and welcoming atmosphere fantastic as usual. Highly recommended.
