I’m vegan and although they had disappointingly run out of the vegan risotto on th menu they couldn’t have been more helpful at finding an alternative. Breakfast could have been a little more thoughtful for a vegan diet. I was advised the porridge bowls were all vegan but when I checked the ingredients they contained milk powder and there were no alternative non dairy yoghurts. Lovely service in a very relaxed atmosphere, fresh fruit and good coffee more than made up for this and it was no problem to heat up my own oat milk which I took with me.

Sadly we caught my favourite place in Gloucester on a bad night food-wise. We booked a table looking forward to a Friday night food and drink. Sadly only pizza available, staff not bothered and the Veg version was not even average. Dough and tomato - nothing much else. Such a shame. Beer was as good as ever.

There were four of us and we all really enjoyed our meals. We've visited other pubs that Vicki and Greg have run and the food has always been excellent. It's a lovely pub, and worth the half hour drive to get to. Fairly busy on a Friday night but not so bad that it was elbow room at the bar or you couldn't hear yourself speak. We will go again

First time that we have visited the Masons Arms, which happened to be on the last day of a very wet early August family summer holiday staying at a nearby AirBnB (we live in London). The restaurant turned out to be one of the few great highlights of our holiday. Lovely food and a very good range of wines and local ales too. Plus a lovely atmosphere and customer service. Would most definitely recommend.

Absolutely delicious Sunday lunch. The beef was amazing- so tender - and our grandchildren equally enjoyed the pork and turkey. Lovely service and great value.

Went to this pub for sunday lunch for the. First time.. Very nice food, nice combination of veg, and a good portion size. Staff very friendly and helpfull. Overall a lovely experience. Restaurant could do with prettying up a bit, a little open. Thankyou
