Had lunch with a friend on Thursday; staff were welcoming and friendly, however the food was a little disappointing on this occasion; we both opted for a foccace which appeared to be overcooked and consequently was quite difficult to eat - my friend pretty much ate only the filling; she was not willing to mention this to the waiting staff. I have been to Caffe e Vino many times and have never before been disappointed - I will return but hope that this was just an "off day" in the kitchen.

Lovely relaxed atmosphere outside in the sunshine, marred only by the rather loud background music which made conversation a little difficult and felt intrusive. Very attentive courteous staff and tasty food.

We wouldn’t go anywhere else. True Italian. Perfect for us. Lovely family and waitresses. Congratulations always to the chef.

Had excellent visit for lunch. the prix fixe food was delicious, the service impeccable and the whole place spotless. WE would highly recommend it .

Another great meal here. We found the Specials menu lovely, with us both choosing the cheese souffle for starters. I also selected the beef medallions off the Specials, these were beautiful with a mushroom and peppercorn sauce. Pizzas are a good size with a wide choice. Service was very good with very attentive staff. Would highly recommend

Excellent light lunch on Thursday with my friends. Perfect assorted salad with Smoked Salmon and delicious Italian ice cream for dessert, all so good that we have booked again for October

Booked last minute for a dinner on bank holiday. Food was excellent as always and service was attentive and professional I always recommend The Masons to friends and this occasion matched the usual good experience

Yet again another meal enjoyed for quality of food and speed of service...no complaints from staff when we had a couple of spillages. Range of tasty (and filling!) starters - not your average prawn cocktail!! Steamed suet pudding -pastry light and meat tender and tasty. Fish and chips superbly light and crispy batter. Burgers very large and pure meat. Array of chocolate puddings outstanding and beautifully presented, great cheeseboard...and all for half price so excellent value for money. Have eaten here many times and haven't yet had a disappointing meal....well done guys!

Once found never forgotten. Back again for coffee on arrival in Tewkesbury and lunch after an enjoyable Tuesday lunchtime organ concert in the Abbey. Good and tasty portions from a wide menu. Love the ice creams. Excellent loaves of bread to take away as well. Friendly welcome followed by good service. If fine try sitting out the back, otherwise plenty of personal space indoors. Look forward to our return.

Always superb . Great family run restaurant . So pleased when they took the decision to extend their hours to be open in evening . Fabulous heated garden . With heating if should be chilly . We have been many times , will visit many times in future .

We visited the Miners Sling on Friday evening for dinner. My belly pork was the best I’ve ever eaten and my partner totally enjoyed his steak suet pie. The red cabbage was amazing too. If we’re ever in the area again, we’ll definitely return for another fabulous meal.

Delicious Sunday lunch, fantastic home made puddings and great service. Would return and recommend.

This was our 2nd visit. The welcome, being shown to our table, drinks order, drinks delivery, food order, food delivery and food quality were all superb - top notch. But then after the food was delivered there was zero contact from staff. Nobody checked off the food was ok (it was great, thankfully), no 2nd drinks order. 25 mins after we had finished eating we had to go and find a member of staff to clear our table, as did several other tables. Unfortunately we were then too late to order desserts so I just asked for the bill and a coffee, both of which took another 15 mins to arrive. The food really was great; they just need to make sure staff are looking after people once they are dining.

We came for Sunday lunch, and as on every other occasion, we really enjoyed it. The service was friendly and efficient. Two of us chose the sirloin and the others the turkey and pork. The meat was cooked perfectly in every case and was accompanied by generous amounts of several different vegetables, including red cabbage, various greens, and carrots. There was plenty of gravy. For those who haven't experienced Sunday lunch here, it is unique in that the meats are delivered to the table on a carving board for you to carve yourself, and they come in the form of generous joints which allow you to have seconds, (or more), and the remaining meat can be taken home in foil! Only two of us could manage dessert. I can thoroughly recommend the crème brulée, but for chocolate lovers, 5 Ways with chocolate is a delight.
