Visiting the area we looked up the reviews and very luckily landed on this gem of a place. You couldn’t find better food and value and friendly staff. I wish we lived nearer as I’d become a regular.

This is the 2nd time we visited in a fortnight. The Monday evening menu is such good value for excellent food (all food half price). We had duck parcels to start and then I had goats cheese and vegetable tart and my husband had venison suet pudding. Service is very good apart from when it is time to pay! We'll be back next time we are in the area.

Excellent Sunday lunch, the beef was tender and tasty , well presented yorkshire puddings I loved,all in all a lovely meal, staff very polite and helpful. Our favourite place for Sunday lunch.

We had a fantastic Sunday roast, meat was gorgeous veg was fresh lovely friendly staff & such a lovely atmosphere I would highly recommend!

Enjoyed a lovely Sunday roast here again. Can't fault the food. Generous portion of meat and fresh veg with lovely crisp roast potatoes. Plates are always hot and the staff are very friendly. We will certainly return.

Fantastic food and service at this location. Each dish was cooked to perfection. The staff were attentive and there was no rush, they were happy to move us to a cooler table, halfway through our afternoon. Recommend this place 5 stars all round

We are sporadic diners out in the area usually to entertain family and friends and on this occasion we're with 3 of my nieces. We arrived on time but unfortunately the initial reception was slow and the table not ready for us. The restaurant was very busy. The meals we had were 4 beef and one roasted vegetable tart with goat's cheese. The beef and accompanying vegetables were lovely but my partner reported later that the tart tasted nice but had a soggy bottom. Unfortunately the following night my partner had stomach cramps all night and surmised that the tart hadn't been cooked thoroughly and she had suffered with a touch of food poisoning. The restaurant decour was lovely and the atmosphere great.

As ever, the Masons Arms Sunday lunch was as lovely as always. This time we had guests with us who said they hadn’t had such a lovely Sunday lunch out in a long time and, they eat out a lot! Thanks to everyone for making it a great time. Miguel and Lori.

Came here as part of a group of 6 on saturday night whilst on a staycation in the Cotswolds. Booked online and on arrival was taken to a little snug with just our table. Every meal and course was incredible, huge portions, amazing food and really gave the wow factor as it arrived. We all had food envy of each other’s dishes in starters, mains and desserts! Service was fantastic too. Couldn’t fault it and only wished we lived closer although we did say it was worth a return trip to the Cotswolds just to come for another meal! 10/10

We had a fantastic and authentic Italian meal on Saturday evening. We were lucky to be able to sit in the garden on such a warm September evening, and despite being very busy the service was excellent. All the food antipasti, mains and gelato were very good. The Primitivo bottle of wine was excellent. We thought it was so reasonably priced for what we had. Highly recommend - book a table.

On a truly hot an barmy evening redolent of Tuscany in the garden of an unassuming restaurant I tasted Italian food passion. Sweet and succulent parma ham with a buffalo mozzarella accompanied with fresh leaves and balsamic vinegar washed down with a glorious Italian rose. It was difficult to remember that we were in Tewkesbury - Superb and a great saving on flights!

Never fails to deliver. Friendly, attentive staff. Great atmosphere. Unrivalled cocktails. Food good as always. Only downer this time was serving bruschetta with burnt toast. Not everybody's cup of tea. Attention to detail. Personal plea - a couple more chicken options would be appreciated.

Booked here for a celebration meal with friends, and wow, we had no regrets. Due to the hot weather they had only opened the garden for meals, as it was just too hot inside. The setting was wonderful and felt like we were sat in a little bistro in Italy. Food was fantastic and the bill was more than acceptable for food of that quality. Highly recommend.

For that Italian experience it is the only place to go. Sitting in the garden eating fabulous food, sipping limoncello you are transported to the Amalfi coast. Thank you Davide for making my dad's 86th birthday special.
