First time we have visited, we had a lovely meal and the staff were attentive.

We had a lovely roast after a long walk in the forest. The beef was gorgeous. served on a board to slice up our selves. The veg was lovely fresh and vibrant. The gravy was really tasty. The only down side were the roasters which were not home made. That’s definitely not a real complaint though because I still utterly enjoyed every bit of my dinner!!! The desserts were scrummy and we all left with a lovely full tummy and a smile. The team were really helpful. I would recommend the miners to anyone and we will return again .

Absolutely outstanding family dinner. Great ambience, food and value, but I’ll single out the service for particular praise. We we wonderfully looked-after by the staff the whole evening. Thank you, most sincerely.

We found this to be a quaint restaurant in Bourton-on-the-Water with friendly staff and delicious food. We shared the Croft Burger and nachos which we enjoyed. Sitting inside, we were able to escape the bustling crowd that visits on a weekend during school break. Thank you to the chef and staff for an enjoyable experience.

Great start, with Niamh providing deadpan humour, followed by a genuine smile. Great character. The food was perfect, the wines we had were great quality. For a successful bustling restaurant, it wasn't distractingly noisy, just a robust background of people enjoying themselves. In a word, atmosphere Really nice, great job. Now my favourite restaurant. We went to the Cod for Sunday lunch. The food was great, fresh cooked and very tasty. The pub has a wonderful welcoming atmosphere and the staff are very friendly and accommodating

Excellent evening as expected

Our second visit here, and we have been stunned on both occasions. On our first visit there was obviously some staff shortages, but everyone was still determined to make all diners welcome and well attended. Both occasions have provided excellent food, and the steak was probably the best I have ever had. The Fowey mussels were huge and so juicy - wonderful. Our second visit we shared a Baltic Sharing Board. Loads of wonderful smoked salmon, trout, cray fish and squid rings for 2 to share. Just lovely. Thank you all for your hard work and effort. No need to ask if we will be back - of course we will!

We enjoyed an excellent, relaxed, al fresco lunch with great service. There's an extensive menu to suit all tastes and dietary needs, our party of 4 adults included one vegetarian and one coeliac, both very well catered for and the friendly staff already knew our requirements from my booking.

We had a fantastic Sunday lunch. Beef and Pork were delicious. Apparently the Banoffee was the best my husband has ever had. We will definitely be back
