The food was pretty good but didn’t wow me. My boyfriends meal was about half the size of mine too which was a bit weird. The waitresses just plonked the food down and hurried away as well not brilliant service but passable.

It ws so good to be back at The Miners and able to eat inside after so long. As always we were warmly welcomed and it was obvious that they re really well organised in terms of Covid compliance. We felt absolutely safe at all times. There was a really good range of starters, mains and puddings as usual and service quick. My friend had the Hunter's chicken and I had the goats cheese tart. Very substantial helping with a choice of potatoes and it was really hot and looked very appetising. Puddings were hard to choose as they all looked wonderful but my friend went for the Affpogato and I can recommend the whisky and white chocolate creme brûlée which was gorgeous. Our whole meal for two with a glass of house red, which was very good came to under £30 as it was Pot Luck Monday and the food is half price. Thank you to Sam, Steve and the staff for a very special evening and the start of many more to come!

Was good to go back to this venue after several months of lockdown. food was amazing as usual. Starter I had the pâté as usual and it was fantastic. Maincourse I had hunters chicken probably the best I’ve ever had And desert I went for the trio of ice creams - seriously nice. The food is always good here but on a Monday it’s a lucky dip where the food is half price hence a lot of people go because fantastic food becomes even better value on a Monday. Cannot knock the place really.

We just wanted to say big thank you. Service was brilliant and quick! We were worried it will be very busy and we won’t be able to enjoy our meal. However, it was great! Staff was amazing, always around. We do apologise, we didn’t leave a tip, but we didn’t have any cash. For sure we will come back and we will highly recommend this lovely place :)

Asked to switch to a table not next to the kitchen, staff were very accommodating even though it was a Saturday night. Very fast service, friendly staff and buzzing atmosphere! Recommend for fellow GF people, there pizza was lovely!

First meal out since lockdown restrictions lifted, staff were fantastic and we felt very well looked after. Food was to die for. Same goes for the cocktails. Lovely atmosphere and can’t wait to return. Thank you Settebellos!

A very enjoyable experience. The food was excellent and well presented as always.

We visited for the first time last night with the family. We all enjoyed it so much can’t wait to book again. Our 6 year old little girl loved the ice cream for pudding. Good atmosphere and staff were all very friendly highly recommend

So glad to be back and the team didn't disappoint. The food was excellent and the service friendly. My 15 year old nephews first visit and very first suet pudding! On the way home he was already asking when we could return and that he had 'just the best chips'. Result all round.

Excellent service, food and ambiance.

the food was really good. all freshly cooked. very attentive staff. the only problem I have is that the exit takes you around the building and to get to the car park you have to go up two steps, one higher than the other. my friend fell on the steps and was ripped the skin all the way down her leg. not the best way to end a lovely meal. there was no one in the entrance of the restaurant so she could easily gone through that way. Something should be done about this/

Everything about our visit was extremely good and we enjoyed our visit. The food and service were exceptionally good and we didn’t catch the name of the waitress but she was brilliant. The only slight downside was the table was a little on the small side even though there were only two of us. Nothing to impact our overall experience though and we’ll definitely be back!
