We had an enjoyable experience at Thursday lunch, relaxed and friendly atmosphere and food was great. The £10 lunch options were very good.

Outstanding in my opinion ! Fabulous food, friendly, accomodating and interesting. Italian family vibes. The deserts are to die for. Such a special treat for me. Most definitely without question the best restaurant in Tewkesbury. Outdoor eating too.

Food was delicious as always, service was outstanding as always, lovely atmosphere in a lovely setting. Real ale was good also, well done Sam and the team. I highly recommend a visit to this pub.

A very big 'Thank you' to all the team at the Codrington Arms. I have sadly had to book two wakes with them, 6 months apart for family members and they have been so supportive. They have made sure that we have everything, including a vegan option and quickly cooked some extra food for us which was no problem. I am so appreciative that they made the whole booking process easy and I have had some lovely comments regarding the food and the venue from family and friends. I would definitely recommend them for any event.

Have had several ‘girly’ lunches at Cafe et Vino and we have always enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Staff very friendly

Another lovely meal at Caffe e Vino. All members of the party thoroughly enjoyed starters and main courses with the greedy ones also partaking in desserts! We ate from both the main and specials menu. Service from all staff members was very good with a particularly warm welcome from the owner on arrival. We will be back soon!

Absolutely fantastic Sunday lunch!

Stayed at campsite Hawthorne Cottage & booked at the Miners for a meal. Lovely meal we chose the special for that evening (Wye valley rump steak) with all the trimmings delightful. Good ales & wine with delicious sticky toffee pudding what more could you ask for “Delicious “ Also staff very attentive.

Incredible food some of the best Italian I’ve ever had, the young waiter was very friendly and professional, very enjoyable evening would return again

The food was delicious and the staff were friendly. It was very quiet on the night we were there and the waiter didn't come tonus, other than to take the initial order and deliver the food. It's a shame as we would have ordered more drinks and puddings.

We had an absolutely lovely pre show supper here on Saturday. Fabulously friendly service and lovely food. The special of seared tuna steak went down particularly well. Will have no hesitation of coming back again.

We have eaten a fair few time here, we moved to Forest of Dean 6 years ago and always try places to eat but we are drawn back to the miners sling The food is excellent as too the staff, and pot luck Monday is a brilliant idea
