I was a regular customer of the restaurant as the food was lovely and the prices were not too dear. Until one Wednesday I went there for a meal with my wife. I had the famous Tiger Tears and my wife had the Thai green curry and the food was lovely as usual just that the curry wasn't as nice as we used to have but it was acceptable. The only big problem I found about this restaurant was that lately, the service has been really poor. One night, there was one waitress and a bar staff, which I thought was enough for such a steady night like that. But we waited so long for the waitress to come and get our orders, plus we had to wait so long for the waitress to clear the table for us so we could have our main courses and that really did put us off the food. We we quite angry at the time as we were in a rush and as the restaurant wasn't that busy at all but it seemed that we didn't see much of the waitress in the restaurant area. I wondered where she was and what exactly was she paid to do????? We started looking for a new place to eat out after that and are still trying to find our new favourite place. If Tum Nuk Thai doesn't improve its quality of service, it will lose many more customers just like they lost us!!!!

Just felt like i need to rite something about this place cause was our night was simply wonderful.Thank you to all the staff at la buona sera for making my daughters 21st birthday v special.Highly recommended.

We tried Othello's after going to Theo's and the food was ok but not as good as Theo's in the value for money. When you walk in it does not feel as homely as Theo's but it was ok

Food here is absolutely fabulous. Very reasonably priced & excellent portions. Steak Pie would have even Desperate Dan struggling to finish. The guy who runs it ( I can't remember his name ) has made as good a success of the restaurant as he did when he had Warehouse 1204 in Sowerby Bridge. Keep up the good work

5* FOR EFFORT AND SERVICE, HOWEVER I DID MISS THE TRUE TURKISH AUTHENTIC ESSENCE OF ORIGINAL REAL DEAL TURKISH CUISINE. BUT I GUESS THIS WAS NOT PROMISED AT ANY POINT.

superb evening of gastro delights. The staff are on there toes and look after you from the moment you arrive. Brilliant, can't wait to go again.

Not really a pub that serves food as such, but, if like me a decent pint of real ale comes as a priority before food being served, ( ie, - no decent ale, then I dont stop even if the food is reputedly good!) you can quite happily skip the eating and get tucked into a few pints of always available excellent ales.

Average but overpriced food which took a very long time to arrive. The Cat in the Well is a beautiful pub in a fantastic location, but the service was pretty poor.

Been twice this month, very friendly and pleasant. Great food, excellent choice and value.

Good Home Cooking. Nothing Flash, but good home cooking, well worth the drive into the heartland of Calderdale and West Yorkshire. James and Mira's warm welcome as a regular makes you feel at ease from stepping through the door. Excellent condition Thwaites Ale and Lagers. Give it a try.

Outstanding food,was amazed at quality.Very busy pub,we went Thursday night this week will definitely go again,everything so fresh and well cooked,service great too.Had homemade pate wow!and chicken al a creme the best ever

Great place by far the best food in town. been to this place few times now and never had a bad meal, always excellent, and staff are always friendly too!

I can not recommend this restaurant highly enough; it is by far my favourite. The food is excellent the service far superior to what you usually get in England and the staff are always pleased to see you and welcome you with a smile. Reasonably priced with an excellent menu selection that caters for all palates. The bar is well stocked with a wide range spirits well worth a visit just for a drink. Diane Huddersfield

A fabulous night had by all. The food was excellent the staff were friendly and attentive definitely the best dining experience in west Yorkshire.

Two meals came 20 (twenty) minutes after the original 15. Everyone who ordered mush peas left them! Staff told but no apologies given. Customers seen leaving after waiting to be served for over 10 mins. at the bar. No one in control of the bar.

i went to la buona sera i couple of weeks ago, i have to admit the food was nice, service was OK. the atmosphere was OK but not what we wanted. we used to go to la buona sera a couple of years ago when it was named "bella rosa" we used to love going there every weekend. the atmosphere was amazing the staff were great. it was the best Italian restaurant we had ever been to by far. mimo was the most nicest person ive met. not to mention is wife and daughter. bella rosa was a family buisness and i would like to say i miss them very much. so if your reading this mimo and family, we want you back in Halifax. we will go back to buona sera, it wasnt a complete let down, and i will spread the news.

Great pub, good homemade food with lots of specialities, top restaurant food at pub prices, we usually go Thursday or Friday very happy friendly staff, we took friends sat night wont go again on Saturday as scruffy barman is rude like it was to much trouble to give you a table, luckily short blonde waitress was there she made our night, smashing place to eat just choose your nights .
