I would never have thought such a place would exist not only in Halifax but the whole of the North West as well. It really does bring home the true Turkish delight. The food, the people, absolutely fabulous! No one is spared of the highest of respect and hospitality, the type rarely found. Everyone should try it out, n'out to lose!
Cafe Passion – HalifaxLovely old village pub with 2 areas for dining, the pub or the conservatory restaurant. I can only comment on the pub menu, which is not extensive, but does have good quality locally sourced produce available. Food is served efficiently and is of a very good standard. The puddings are worth saving room for! You can also get a decent pint of timothy taylors to go with.
The Old White Beare – HalifaxA decent quality pub, serving up honest, proper pub food. It's the kind of place where you know what they'll do well (and they do it very well) and you know what you should probably avoid for fear of over-enthusiasm on the kitchen's part! Very friendly serving team and keenly priced menu, plus good selection of beers.

Griffin Inn, The – HalifaxSultan Mahal has been open since 1987. An excellent place to take your family and friends by far the best in Halifax. excellent service excellent food and recently refurbished to a good level. oh and ask for my favourite waiter taz.

New Inn – HalifaxGreat place if you fancy a pub lunch and want to take the kids. They do a kids menu for about £2.95 which includes a meal, bag of fruit, drink and crayons and paper. Separate family area to eat in. Lovely lavazza coffees made with organic milk.
