Lovely food and very friendly staff as always!

I have deliberately redacted my details. We had a less than perfect experience. Average service, less than good food & wasn't even offered desert, the bill was just put down on the table. We are hoping this was an aberration as other visits been very pleasing.

Sunday dinner was slightly disappointing. Leeks not cooked well in veg and belly pork was virtually all fat. Raised pork issue with staff and no real explanation or apology. Rhubarb polenta cake for pudding had no rhubarb. Chicken schnitzel and fish and chips looked great and kids enjoyed. Staff friendly and attentive generally.

Warm wlecome, friendly landlord, good food ,ale and wine. Music a bit screechy.

Delicious food, really friendly service and great atmosphere. We will definitely be back. Only feedback I would give is please give kitchen closing times when booking a table, we didn’t realise the kitchen closed at 8:15 when we booked our 8pm table.

Great family Saturday night dinner for 4 of us. Friendly service and delicious food and wine. And the children’s brownies were ‘amazing’!

Delicious Sunday dinner in a nice dog friendly pub, great service and good, affordable kids menu too. We were pretty envious of the kids desserts! We'll be heading here to finish off a few more Sunday afternoon dog walks for sure.

All four of us agreed that we had a very enjoyable lunch with attentive service. The Duke will be returning to our shortlist of places to go.

A lovely dining room and first class food, along with friendly, not over attentive service. Friday lunchtime was a little quiet, as you would expect, but the pub was getting busy as we left. The Duke is a short walk from where we live, but this was the first time we'd eaten there since the new owners took charge. Our loss! We hope to be returning more regularly in the future.

After a long walk we sat for Sunday lunch. The food was absolutely fantastic! In addition, the staff were very attentive and super friendly. And importantly, the beer was cold and excellent! I can’t recommend this place highly enough and shall certainly be back.

Came here for Sunday lunch with my family and the Duke didn’t disappoint. Fabulous food (including great roasties!) and service from the friendly staff. Will definitely come back. Highly recommend ⭐️

Friday night supper. So pleased to see the restaurant completely full even if we Gad to wait a while to get our food - happy to have had to wait. Food as usual fab. Keep it up - love that you are making a success of The Duke

Group of 6 of us plus 2 dogs went for Sunday lunch after a walk around Harewood. Really welcoming staff, real fire, great service and excellent food. Had a great meal and very enjoyable afternoon. Will definitely be going again. This is what all village pubs should be like!

We’ve had several lovely meals here, most recently enjoying crab salad and chorizo scotch egg starts followed by rump steak mains, all delicious! Good to see some specials being offered as well as a selection of alcohol free drinks in addition to some nice ale.
