The Tannin Level – HarrogateTook advantage of the early bird 3 course menu on our short break to Harrogate. Excellent value , food cooked to perfection the sweets were to die for. Would certainly recommend it.
Gron – HarrogateFound this restaurant during our short break to Harrogate. Very authentic pizzeria - Luigi excellent mine host - great welcome. Food fantastic , value fantastic , great atmosphere. Would definitely recommend a visit.
Luigis – HarrogateIt has been some time since we visited William and Victoria's upstairs restaurant and so were amazed by the transformation! Beautiful decor and the food matched. No wonder Will & Vics was voted Harrogate's favourite restaurant at the 2007 Plush Awards!
William & Victoria Restaurant & Wine Bar – HarrogateA magnificent restaurant, the food is always excellent and of the highest standard. The wine list is just as good. Go back whenever you can.
Drum and Monkey – HarrogateUnbeatable food. The afternoon tea is superb. Make sure you are given a table on the ground floor, not the basement.
Bettys Cafe Tearooms – HarrogateMy Girlfriend and I visited the restaurant last weekend and had an exceptional meal. My girlfriend even wanted to write a note to the staff and the chef to say how much she enjoyed her food! We had 2 of the specials which seem to change on a regular basis. Mussels to start and I had the rack of lamb for my main. The wine selection is the best around and the waiting staff are very knowledgeable about the wine selection. The service was also brilliant, we had staff waiting on out every need but without pestering. Would highly recommend a visit here to anyone who likes fine food and fine wine at a very reasonable price.
The Tannin Level – HarrogateI have to say having read all these recommendations before I went I was expecting a great night. But I was so so so disappointed with everything about the experience. We went for a family dinner and apart from waiting 20min to get a round of soft drinks, the service was slow, rude and without a smile for the entirety of our visit. But once the food arrived this was the least of our problems. The batter on the fish was flaky, crunchy and dry - the chips were not fresh and I suspect reheated. And £12 for chicken and chips for a 9 year old is ridiculous. I won’t be going back again.
Graveleys Of Harrogate – HarrogateWow! If you haven't tried it yet, go there now. Turn off your computer, and go there. My wife and I have been there three times, each time trying something new, and each time being amazed. Not a single bad moment. Even went there once with our two young daughters. It's bordering between the average to pricey side.. but in comparison, worth every pound.
Thai Pavillion – HarrogateI once ate at the cafeteria in Morrison's. This was slightly better in taste, but I paid twice as much. Service? Ambience? The place was dirty, the service was poor. So what'd I pay for? The cafeteria style place settings? No thank you.
Vivido – HarrogateGood Food and friendly staff who provide excellent service, we go here nearly all the time when we want a Chinese meal to eat in or take out!
Wing Wah – HarrogateUnder the current ownership/management, it's very child-friendly, as the manager has a young family himself. (Previous comment from 2003 may refer to previous management). The fine food is extremely high quality, and the staff are always friendly. You always get a good welcome. Mark also cooks the best take-away fish and chips in the world (ring for frying times). I always take my guests to this pub, as you can rely on consistent quality.
Pizza Express – HarrogateMy wife and I have tried to book a table at William & Victoria for ages..... we were told to come down and wait for a table as fully booked. Wow.....it was worth the wait! Couldn't fault it - best restaurant in Harrogate!
William & Victoria Restaurant & Wine Bar – HarrogateNowhere can beat William and Victoria for value for money. Brilliant atmosphere any night of the week. The food is excellent and great service. Probably the best restaurant in Harrogate.
William & Victoria Restaurant & Wine Bar – HarrogateThis a really good brasserie with very good food and stylish service. My Salmon was a brave dish indeed, but executed perfectly, with authentic tasting home made naan bread! My partners Chicken was equally stunning. 2 decent puds and a great bottle of Merlot rounded off a lovely evening.....but wheres the coffee machine? I was denied my fix of espresso! Somebody buy them one!!
The Tannin Level – HarrogateNice food but took an age to take the order - almost an hour!
Sasso – HarrogateWent to The Tannin Level last night and I was very surprised! The food was perfect and the wine list exceptional. I will be frequenting the restaurant now as its recently become a new entry into my top 10 places to eat in the country! The staff are great too, particularly Victoria. Every restaurant needs a front of house like her.
