William & Victoria Restaurant & Wine Bar – HarrogateBased on a recommendation from some friends, I recently took my family to Luigi's restaurant for my daughters 15th birthday and it was perfect. There were 9 of us and we got a lovely big table in the window. There was something on the menu for everyone - even the kids! and Luigi was happy to alter the portion sizes and some of the ingredients in one meal as my mother can't have cream. The service was really good and we were never left looking around trying to get someones attention. When the desserts came Luigi personally sang to my little girl and got the whole restaurant involved, she felt like a princess and it really made her day. When the bill came I prepared myself for a shock but there was no need as it was very reasonably priced - great value for money. And there was no service charge. I would definitely go back there and I always give Luigi's number if anyone wants an authentic italian restaurant.
Luigis – HarrogateThis is one of the best restaurants I have ever dined in. Over the past few years I have gone there often and never had a bad meal or bad experience. The staff are excellent - friendly, helpful and efficient and the food is always delicious with a good choice of menu, well presented dishes and very good quality ingredients, cooked by experts. The icing on the cake is the cost of the meal, which is extremely good value. I can't rate this too highly and would recommend it to anyone.
Outside Inn – Harrogatevery disappointed, from the bouse, to the very cold cheese, at 2 rossette standard a complete let down, service and room was excellent, otherwise very ordinary and over priced.
Boar’s Head Hotel – HarrogateHave experienced today possibly the worst meal I have had this year. As a regular visitor to Rudding the service and quality of food today left a lot to be desired. The parsnip soup starter was average, then I was brought a roast beef dinner even though I had ordered a cauliflower and blue cheese charlotte with root vegetables. The staff disappeared and 5 mins later brought the most disgusting mush of cauliflower in a fried bread tower with an oily stack of potatoes. needless to say it was sent back and i waited for cheese and biscuits. We didn't pay for this meal, the staff were stressed and some were not qualified to work in a restaurant of this nature. Not the usual standard and I hope the kitchen and management get their act together ASAP!
Clocktower Restaurant at Rudding Park Hotel – HarrogateIf you want 'posh' fish and chips then this is the place to be seen!! We travelled all the way from Queensland in Australia and had dinner here one night in late September 2009 and we were not disappointed and it was well worth the journey. The Haddock was cooked to perfection with just the right firmness and the batter was crisp, golden and not at all oily or greasy. Chips were also your normal fresh fare. The curry sauce was nice and spicy without being too hot and the mushy peas were good. Hats off to the team at Graveley's the 2 elder gents dressed in colourful waistcoats and we were made to feel most welcome. Don't go here in your dress downs as you will feel out of place as all the customers were dressed up on the night we were here, you could almost smell the aroma of money in the restaurant. If Graveley's want to expand to Australia I want to be part of the action!!!!
Graveleys Of Harrogate – HarrogateThis is a real family friendly place, great food, fab service and not overly pricey
Jinnah Restaurant – HarrogateI love this place! It's great for a group night out or for taking the kids if they're a little bit older. It's an entertainment and a meal all in one!
Yoko’sTeppanyaki – HarrogateThe Orchid has long been a firm favourite, it's a really great atmosphere with fabulous food and friendly staff. I would recommend this restaurant for couples, groups or families with older children. A bit pricey but it's well worth it.
Orchid Restaurant – HarrogateHey what can you say about Luigis?! Fab place full of atmosphere and Luigi is such a character. Food is excellent and typically Italian, not a bad price but make sure you book in advance.
Luigis – HarrogateI would say it's the best place to eat in Harrogate, upstairs or down. David and his team look after you, the food is superb and a it's a great place to meet your friends and colleagues over a meal and good bottle of wine (or two!!)
William & Victoria Restaurant & Wine Bar – HarrogateWe visited the wine bar for lunch today and had moules mariniere and seabass which were fabulous. We are never disappointed with William and Victoria's in Harrogate. Great service with a smile and delicious food...... what more do you want?

Graveleys Of Harrogate – HarrogateFound Vivido by accident, my husband and I stopped there. Very clean, very friendly & attentive & helpful staff. Food was excellent, loved the garlic bread!. Price was reasonable. No wonder it is named the winner of Best Mediterranean Restaurant Award 2009. Superb.
Vivido – HarrogateMy wife & i called for lunch on Saturday, this is our 5th visit &once again had an outstanding meal, always an excellent choice in meat & fish & as always doninics wine selection was very good. The whole eating experience was excellent.
Le D2 – Harrogategreat fish but did not realize they always cook their fish and chips in beef dripping!
Graveleys Of Harrogate – HarrogateWhy are all the reviews on here at least 2 years old? I went for lunch with some work colleagues for a fish lunch and they charged extra for mushy peas, the tea was cold and the staff were very unfriendly. Maybe the fish and chips were good, but amidst all the problems, they were difficult to enjoy. I suspect the once wonderful Graveleys has fallen into poor management. I certainly would never go there again. I would recommend Oliver's on Cold Bath Road instead - you can sit in too.
Graveleys Of Harrogate – HarrogateCalled in on a whim on the way back to Leeds from Masham. The food was absolutely wonderful, I had braised lamb shank with minted mash and warmed brie salad to start. The portions were generous and the food was well prepared. Not cheap for a pub, but well worth paying the extra rather than a £7 steak in a chain pub. Will be calling in again.
