The pub quiz is hilarious. Fantastic beers too
The Seadog – HastingsWe came for the India Style food, and it didn’t disappoint, would have again - will be keeping an eye on the socials for sure!
The Seadog – HastingsThe meal was tasty. Quite small portions. The samosa was pretty spicy - a little too much for my taste. My husband enjoyed his lamb with flatbread. Not the pub’s fault but the table next to us were drunk and extremely loud so we couldn’t talk or hear each other meaning we left early and went to Pickled instead, which had a much calmer atmosphere. Just be mindful when booking that Seadog is first and foremost a pub not a restaurant, hence the raucous atmosphere. The table wasn’t clean and the flowers were dead in the vase so it all felt a bit unloved and rough and ready. A nice pub for a lively night out, but I wouldn’t rush back for a meal.
The Seadog – HastingsFantastic roast as always.

The Seadog – HastingsBooked spur of the moment, food was excellent, oriental mushroom starter was delicious, my husband’s cod was very good with stir fried veg and steamed. Best red velvet cheesecake ever! The young lady that served us had excellent customer service skills, nothing was too much trouble. Definitely recommend, this place, you won’t be disappointed.

So many vegetables on the plate, the leeks were out of this world. I will definitely be coming back for more, and highly recommend the Sea Dog for the welcoming staff, food, atmosphere and great value for money.
