Excellent venue, excellent service, excellent food. Every time we visit the Cider Barn we have our spirits lifted and happiness in our hearts...and stomachs.

Had a Sunday lunch here last year that was the best I’ve ever had. Came back to sample the normal menu and whilst the food was good the selection was limited and maybe a bit too quirky for us. We had the bread and fried chick pea fritter as nibbles as aiming for puds. Both were excellent and generous portions. For mains we had skirt of beef (tasty if a bit tough), bubble and squeak with parsnips and candied walnuts (fine but too much b&s and lacked seasoning), sausage en crout (big sausage roll - on the burnt edge of brown) and black cod ( which was the star but came with chicken - both were nice but didn’t go). Maybe just trying a little too hard to become Michelin? Doughnuts with mouse were light but too many of them. Brownie with sweet potato and Rumkoft was just too big and rich. Three of us tried to help out but all defeated. Affogato was fine. Was a family meet up so didn’t complain but think there needs to be a bit of a rethink to have a few less fussy dishes on as not all parties would have found something to their taste? Expensive too at £30 for skirt beef which should have bought a fillet steak elsewhere. Atmosphere was nice but it may be a while before we are back but would give it another go if we saw changes in the menu.

Food , service and ambience were all perfect !

The best meal we have ever had! We would highly recommend and a real 'find'. The food was completely amazing and special, something that you could not make yourself. The restaurant and surroundings are beautiful. I can't wait to go again!

Had a lovely meal here on the 28th march. Good and varied choice of dishes on the menu. What we chose was very tasty and well cooked. It's obvious that a lot of thought has gone into the menu. The service was very good and the barn is a lovely setting with a relaxing atmosphere. We thought that it was reasonably priced and good value. We will definitely be back!

A fantastic place to eat. Friendly and professional staff. Food cooked to perfection and piping hot. So good to find a different type of menu with fabulous ingredients . Absolutely perfect.

Beautiful setting. Very warm welcome and excellent, attentive service. Everything on the menu sounded amazing... Hard to choose, so opened for 2 different starters and mains, and shared. Amazing flavours, cooked to perfection.

First visit to the cider barn… loved the atmosphere, service was outstanding and the food was super tasty and great value for money. Will definitely be back!!

Fabulous as always! The staff are excellent, the food is excellent and the atmosphere is always relaxed but efficient. I've never had a bad meal here. Also very accommodating of our somewhat mad toddler. Thank you so much.

Since moving to mid Wales 4 years ago, we've really struggled to find the quality of food we were used to in the Midlands - and that's dog friendly... A chance find online of the Cider Barn last Summer has seen us return 4 times more, for lunch, dinner and Sunday lunch. Each meal has been nothing short of spectacular, from taste and presentation to service. Almost impossible to find these days. You can tell the ingredients are high quality and the menus put together with flare and love. We'll continue to make the hours journey as often as we can, with our 2 spaniels in tow!

Staying locally and the Cider Barn was a great find for Saturday dinner. Really good food suitable for our mixed party of meat eaters, veggies and vegans. The atmosphere is lovely and the service very professional.

New to the area and looking for Sunday lunch with vegetarian friends. What a great find! All agreed the food was excellent (I had the porcetta), the staff couldn't have been more pleasant and helpful and it's a very atmospheric location. Wil definitely be returning!

Amazing Sunday Roast! Lovely atmosphere and cosy feeling. Our food was faultless and wonderful staff. Has to be my favourite place for a roast - highly recommended!

This place closes early because it runs out of food and leaves you standing there with no other explanation! Go somewhere else
