Lovely pub, great hospitality and food

Everything you'd want from a low-key meal in a frendly local pub on a Friday night; great service, hearty food, a lively but not-too-loud atmosphere, and a sense that 'anyone could walk in here and feel welcome'. Thank you.

Best pub roast I’ve ever had. We had the lamb and pork belly. The gravy was amazing. Everything perfectly cooked.

Recently enjoyed a family celebration at the King Stag. Cannot thank the staff enough for their hospitality, service and food. We had a wonderful meal and celebrated into the night.

First visit to the Prince George for Sunday lunch. The Sunday roast was superb. We had beef and lamb roasts and a nice choice of vegetables. The gravy was delicious. Personally, I would prefer condiments such as horseradish sauce and mint sauce to be served separately as not everyone likes them on their plate. We also had the sticky toffee pudding. It is a lovely pub but it was pretty cold in there while eating dinner. Approx £80 for 2 roasts, 2 deserts and 2 drinks

Amazing food and lovely welcoming staff. We were wet through after joining in their monthly dog walk but there were no issues with us coming in early and sorting ourselves out. The staff were amazing and looked after us and our dog really well. We’ll be back very soon.

Lovely pub with a great atmosphere. We went for the quiz on Wednesday which was fun. Food was amazing - best meal I have had out in ages.
