Loved our evening at the Royal Oak. we arrived a bit early and the landlord did a great job of getting us seated and fed. Food was great too

Excellent afternoon at The Oak, big thanks to Sue, Lee, the bar staff and kitchen staff for an enjoyable birthday get together for hubby. All of the party had a great time!!

Had a great Easter Sunday roast at The Royal Oak hosted by Sue. The food's fantastic, especially the roasts, burgers & wings. Highly recommended, give it a try, you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Absolutely perfect the whole experience 100 % spot on love eating there on a Sunday, friendly service,belly of pork truly scrumptious.

We booked the dining room for a memorial and Lee could not have done more to make sure we had the perfect day!! Always on hand prior to the event to help with anything we needed. On the day, everything was laid out just as we wanted it. The food and service was spot on. Thanks so much for making our day even more special :)

Best pub in the area

I booked the back room for my leaving drinks and we were really well looked after, had the space to ourselves, food arrived in timely manner, it was delicious and everyone had a really good time. It had the feeling of a great local community pub, the staff and other people who came to visit that evening were all so nice and friendly, really enjoyed the evening.

Super food, great staff and dog friendly - what more could you want.

Brilliant dog friendly pub with great food, can’t wait to go back!!! For the first time since getting our puppy my partner and I decided to go out for Sunday lunch and booked this pub. Staff were great and brought over a water bowl and some complementary treats for the dog. The dog menu is a brilliant idea, we got a pigs ear to distract him as we ate which was a god send.

The quality of the Sunday roast was very good. I throughly enjoyed it. My strater was also really nice- Halloumi fries! Couldn't fault the food really. I like that there is a semi ope kitchen so you can see the chefs.

Excellent Mac'n'Cheese. Quick friendly service. Sad so few people in the pub but it was a Tuesday.

Six of us went for lunch with our puppy as the pub is dog friendly. Firstly, what a great experience for him; they provided a bowl of water and a bowl of dog biscuits on the table for him. There is a separate dog menu and he spent ages with his first pig's ear. For the people in the party, I can say that the food and service were great. Portions were large and the food was, on the whole, hot and tasty. We had an issue with one of the main courses but received a prompt apology and it was taken off the bill. We will definitely return.
