We had a wonderful Sunday roast at the King Stag on Easter Sunday. Great service, very friendly and helpful staff. Delicious food. And our Dachshund was made so welcome and even had a little dish of dog bones waiting for him ❤️

The King Stag – BusheyI booked the back room for my leaving drinks and we were really well looked after, had the space to ourselves, food arrived in timely manner, it was delicious and everyone had a really good time. It had the feeling of a great local community pub, the staff and other people who came to visit that evening were all so nice and friendly, really enjoyed the evening.

For the first time since getting our puppy my partner and I decided to go out for Sunday lunch and booked this pub. Staff were great and brought over a water bowl and some complementary treats for the dog. The dog menu is a brilliant idea, we got a pigs ear to distract him as we ate which was a god send.

The Royal Oak Watford Heath – WatfordSix of us went for lunch with our puppy as the pub is dog friendly. Firstly, what a great experience for him; they provided a bowl of water and a bowl of dog biscuits on the table for him. There is a separate dog menu and he spent ages with his first pig's ear. For the people in the party, I can say that the food and service were great. Portions were large and the food was, on the whole, hot and tasty. We had an issue with one of the main courses but received a prompt apology and it was taken off the bill. We will definitely return.
