We had a lovely evening on Saturday as usual, the food is excellent and the staff are just as good. A nice evening was had by all.

We had a roast dinner here and it was absolutely amazing. Tasted so so good. Lovely, friendly pub.

Best roast beef I’ve ever had. I really love this pub. Its exactly what’s needed.

Without a doubt this is the best roast I have ever had. Not just the best roast in Watford, the best roast, full stop. We travel from Surrey, a 80 mile round trip, once a month, just for the Prince George Roast Beef, it is unmatched. Service is 10/10 also. Once you go, nowhere else will compare honestly.

Had a lovely meal here. Sirloin steak perfectly cooked and wifes chicken dish ,very tasty. The service complimented the food,polite and professional. Thank you for a lovely evening

We booked an area in the King’s Stag for our son’s first birthday party. Staff could not have been more friendly or helpful helping us to set up and clear up afterwards. We will definitely come again and would highly recommend for parties.

The food was delicious, the staff were very helpful and friendly. The atmosphere was very lively and we enjoyed our evening. The only downside is a bottle of wine is very expensive for a pub. I would expect to pay low £20.00 especially when a decent wine can be bought for £5.00 at a trade price and in volume.

We enjoyed a delicious Sunday nut roast and my dog woofed down her burger. Food, service and atmosphere is always enjoyable. My only quibbles are a bit more gravy would be nice without having to pay for a jug, plus desserts are quite pricey so I passed. Look forward to dining with you again soon!

Me and the missus popped in for a Sunday roast. I have to say when it comes to roasts I always stick to chicken but this time we had the beef and all I can say OMG it was fantastic, nice and tender and it just fell apart. Would def go back and def recommend just for the roast beef

We are so lucky to have such a great pub on our doorstep, so great for us as a family and somewhere for us to meet friends. The service from all is always amazing, everyone is so accommodating and friendly. The Sunday roast is honestly the best one we have had and the rest of the menu is also SO good!

We recently held our son’s christening at Kings Stag and couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. The service was fantastic, and the food was brilliant – so much so that we ended up ordering more on the day! When it came to choosing the food, they gave us great advice on how much to order and reassured us that we could add more if needed, which we did. They were also incredibly accommodating; although we had originally booked to arrive at 1:30pm, they happily welcomed us much earlier when we finished the mass ahead of schedule. A truly wonderful venue with a helpful and professional team – highly recommended for any special occasion.

The food was very good (Sunday roasts), but the service was very slow.

We had booked for Sunday lunch to catch up with a friend, we did arrive early but that was not a problem as our table was ready. We had enough to think about what to drink and to place our order, didn't have to wait long, when the food arrived it was hot and full of flavour. Service was on point. The atmosphere was lovely, I can highly recommend The Prince George for Sunday lunch and a pub to visit at any time. Thank you.

Great food, great service

A really lovely pub, with a nice atmosphere. Nice pub food and lots of options. Cocktails were also nice and staff were extremely effecient, welcoming and friendly.
