Great people, great food … good times! Lovely family run pub, really care about their customers. Warm welcome whether on two legs or four (not in Animal Farm vibe though!). H Days.

Dreadful food the Eaton mess, couldn’t find the strawberries had to ask for more. service not great left waiting, a couple of waitresses quite bolshy. Will definitely not eat here again, gone right downhill. Did wonder why on a sunny day booked 11am Sunday bank holiday we could get a table for that day - now I know why!

We had a good evening with drinks and delicious food. The staff looked after us very well in a lively atmosphere.

First time Sunday lunch at The Royal Oak. Lovely staff, great service, piping hot food and very tasty too! Will definitely be going back soon!

Came to the pub last night my friend had the sharing platter which she had herself and I had the chicken burger with sweet potato fries we both thoroughly enjoyed our meals and ordered the delicious ice creams being chocolate, salted caramel and honeycomb they were absolutely delicious. Lovely atmosphere lots of gorgeous dogs in the pub had a great time will definitely be coming again very soon and lovely staff top

Gorgeous steak and the kids said nicest mac and cheese they've had. Great service. Will defo come back.

Sunday Lunch Lovely lunch, friendly staff, great atmosphere

Party of 4 all enjoyed the lighter lunch/sandwiches which were excellent.

Our Sunday roast was the best so far. Service was a bit lacking and it was very dark. But we will definitely return.

Had a lovely Mother’s Day meal. Superb roast lamb lunch. Everything hot and cooked to perfection, fluffy potatoes with an outside crunch, fab doey Yorkshire pudding, excellent lamb, served with a separate bowl of perfectly al dente buttered vegetables and lovely rich gravy and mint sauce. Really can’t fault and friendly staff. I wouldn’t go for the fig starter, however, as the fig wasn’t ripe and abit tasteless but the fish cake was very good.

Amazing lunch with freshly cooked food, piping hot and beautifully served. Good value for money.
