Great pub with very attentive staff, good range of food options, wonderful atmosphere and a very pleasant setting. It was the perfect place to catch up with family on a summer’s evening.

My friend and I don't often get to meet, so I picked The Prince George as it was halfway between where we both live. I am Coeliac, so catering for me can be a bit of a pain, but they were brilliant, and the Durban Lamb Curry was so good. My friend eats Halal too and was over the moon to find out the lamb was Halal. We had such a lovely time; the food was fabulous. It was such a friendly atmosphere, and the owners were so kind to us both. Thank you for making our meet up a really good one.

This pub is a real gem. The food is always really excellent and the welcome is always very friendly.

Outstanding. We went to celebrate a mile stone birthday with all the family. So many options on the menu, including for children. Prices are great and the food is brilliant. It’s run by amazing staff. Thank you for having us

I booked Sunday lunch with friends on 19/04/2026. We got in on time seen to with in 10mins. When the food came it was served hot and enjoyed by every one with empty plates at the end, we are looking forward to going again. Its what a local pub should be. Thank you to All the Staff .

We came up for a Sunday roast. What i can say....amazing food, amazing place with amazing staff. What are you waiting for???

The best Sunday roast in Watford.

One of the best Sunday lunches for sure.. with the gravy that is so delicious. Great quality and portions of food served perfectly. Nice Morhers day outing. Service was spot on as it has been times before.

Exceptional, the Prince George is the epitome of a local pub. Everyone is welcoming and friendly. The menu makes you want to try everything. The atmosphere is amazing. It's family and dog friendly, the owners are just lovely in every way. The whole pub screams "come for a pint, stay for the night"

Was in the area for a few days wanted a needed Sunday lunch. Came across Prince George Pub. Staff friendly, had one of the best Lamb roasts we’d had in a long time. Very generous portions we enjoyed it all & a lovely pudding to finish off. Nice atmosphere would recommend & will come again when in area.

Absolutely delicious food, as always, very quickly served after palcing the order and piping hot, cannot fault it at all. Service ... excellent. Atmosphere also very calming with very pleasant background music. Value for money..... also excellent. I promise you I do NOT have shares !! Just wish they opened for lunch in the week too. Thank you Prince George for an altogether lovely Sunday lunch experience. xx
